whats the gt2535 like on the rb20, is it very laggy and when does it start to make boost?

I bought a Garret T3G turbo off JMS in adelaide, are these the same as a HKS GT2530 which most ppl say are good uprgade for a RB20? I was told buy them its a good upgrade for a RB20?????

to answer a quick question will a rb25 gearbox make better 1/4 mile times than a rb20, eg gear ratio difference???

I need to get my RB20DET 5spd box rebuilt strong, does anyone know of any companys in melbourne that can build me one that is with HD bearings etc..??

I just bought a autometer air/fuel mixture meter, which wire do you connet the meter to on the oxygen sensor, I see there is a white,red and black wires on it, which do i use??

i have a Dakin/Xeedy HD clutch, it is a heap of junk, I think the stock rb20 unit was better...

Im thinking about getting my gearbox rebuilt, anyone know of any company's in melbourne that can build my rb20det 5spd gearbox tough?

just a quick update the clutch is still being a problem we have narrowed the problem down to the speed/weight of the clutch been the main problem, no word from xeedy as to what they are goin to do either i pull it out and throw it away or grind the **** out of my gearbox The clutch engages/dissengages fine but you still have to wait a couple of seconds till the clutch to slow down to grab the next gear....

looks like i will have to get a R32 GTS-t clutch master cylinder as the one on the VL's arent adjustable....

OYEAHA - When we contacted Dakin/Xeedy they said what they are prepared to do is supply a Standard clutch plate and use it in conjunction with the HD pressure plate. Its just a real prick, obviously the clutch plate is to heavy for the gearbox to operate properly and release quickly..

the main problem is each time i go through the gears i have to hold the clutch in for about 2 or 3 secounds to change without grinding(this happens in every gear), i was goin to drag race my car a few weekends ago but i dont want to destroy the gear box and the way it is id have to back off at each gear to change, its really annoying

yep thrust bearing was replaced, ive bleed the system and it doesnt make a difference, got me stuffed

I just got a Dakin/Xeedy HD clutch fitted to my car but ive been having problems changing gears, as soon as you put load on the engine goin through the gears it wont change and will grind the gears (not flat changing) but if you drive normally and change its fine, i had no problems with the standard clutch before, anyone ever experienced this problem with HD clutches up behind the rb20det 5spd box and if so how did you fix the problem? it just seems like its the weight of the clutch is too heavy for the gearbox any help or idea's would be much appreciated

is there any advantages in running BP ultimate and octane booster? will it increase the octane rating or not, im thinking about only using it for when i take my car to the drags
