  1. hahaha. It may seem as though everyone in oz is talking up Webber a bit much but reading overseas websites and also hearing from aussies overseas the guy is touted as a future superstar even overseas. I even saw an interview where MS was asked if he was worried about the up and comers montoya, alonso and kimi he said " you forgot one; Webber"
  2. If Webber gets a competative drive (ie Williams or Renault) I think you will see some serious competition for Schuey already I think he is going to have his hands full with Alonso and Montoya. I dont know if mclaren have the package this year to take it to him judging by their abismal start. Speaking of which how do you think Montoya is feeling after mclaren's performance yesterday?
  3. country schooling for me most of the way Ballidu PS Cooke Point PS (Port Hedland) Hedland HS Morley HS (while boarding at swanliegh) and I'd say hedland has more drugs than morley any day of the week :b
  4. Just checked the original charges ( http://www.cams.com.au/content.asp?PageID=...le&ObjectID=299) against the lasted finding and Skaife did not appeal the staying on the track incident and Ingall did not appeal the swerving at skaife incident (if it was indeed that) he appealed the bring the sport into disrepute charge.
  5. I think winterbottom will have a big impact 3 or 4 races in no doubt about him being a big talent. I dont think Dumbrell will stay in much longer if he doesnt start showing some results ie you would want to be confident enough to put him in the same car as steven richards for sandown/bathurst. The person I was most impressed with and who may have been a real contender if he had a VY was Rick Kelly. I think he will do well next year as well. As for the Skaife being let off for bringing the sport into disrepute I thought he was appealing the careless driving decision or was that the running out on the track? if it was the running out on the track im against it. If it was the driving I'm for it. hope that made sense.
  6. Looks like its all come to a close finally http://www.cams.com.au/content.asp?PageID=...le&ObjectID=317
  7. They should just put Will Power or Will Davison in early or better yet both of em. Stoddart said he would give them a test and during the Melb GP they are being fited for seats for the test.
  8. Well it looks like Ingall got his sentence lessened by $5000 but the rest still stands. From the looks of it Skaife is apealling only the careless driving charge and not the one applying to his behavior after the incident. But who knows when we will find out what the result of that is.
  9. Dibs on the spare jaguar seat!
  10. but if you wanna get like that ingalls swerve was a case of reckless driving and since it was meant as a clear threat could also be deemed assault I think just about everyone agrees on one point wiether they be holder or ford fan; both drivers were out of line after the incident.
  11. Not till next year unfortunatley but the awards night should be interesting. Good to see Skaife gave full credit to ambrose during the interview. Should be a good season next year
  12. If you want to get really morbid then have yourself wrapped in tin foil and have the wiggles play "hot potatoe" at your cremation. But on the more serious note probable something more upbeat at my funeral. I know it will be a sad time but I hate the thought of me bumming people out. I would rather a celebration of my life than a morning of my death.
  13. Hey I just thought of something that HSV should do next.......AWD turbo Astra. Dont tell me you wouldnt like to see one of them on the rally scene. with the price bracket it would fall into it could acctually be a nice rival to the rex. now if only I worked for holden they could pay me money to come up with this stuff (even though im sure someone has already said it :b ) EDIT: As per Lozza's suggestion copyright 2003 =P give me money! and a free sample car
  14. I think it would be the same awd system they developed for the Adventura and the one they are going to put on the cross 8 (4wd V8 Crewman). Most people who will drive this car have too much money to spend and when you have that much money you want the little extras most of the time so I dont think it would have made sense to strip the car down and make it lighter to improve performance at the expence of luxury. Needs to come out in a manual though unless they have found a WAY better auto gearbox. All in all a sweet car.
  15. hehe was discussing this with some mates today it doesnt really work unless he is in reverse. but then again its an add and if I could but the standard ute for $25k and then stretch it to the $33k standard clubman i sure as hell would
