i rang coventrys earlier for a gasket for my t28, they said only nissan can get them, looks like ill be emailing taark. heres his sale thread, gaskets are about halfway down. http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=384534 btw i did a search for gasket adhesives, cant find a company that will guarantee a gasket adhesive wont melt if used anywhere between the engine and the cat, loctite bluemaxx for the rest of it ill be using, great stuff.

powerfc is a full replacement ecu safc is a fuel controller. you can even get a boost controller addon for a powerfc, they are great ecus but very very hard to find an r33 one because once people get them unless they write it off they wont sell it they are too good. theres a great thread in the tech section on powerfcs if you want to do some research, they are a great unit, but around 1200+ for the unit with handset afaik

dont have to do the hpt mate, i lost my license in oct and only got around to getting it back a month ago. I passed the theory on friday and practical on a saturday but they dont process it until mondays, i thought i had to do the hpt, so i was driving round on monday shit scared of getting a 9month driving without a license suspension. But when i got to the dpi on monday arvo they said yeah all good go for it, I was like wtf and they told me you only ever have to do the hpt once.

hmm ive been tossing up doing this, do you need to do it once you lock the frame with the rings or is it not really worth doing once that is done?

they dont replace the bushes, they help compress them, 15 year old bushes dont hold very well. 4 solid rings go underneath, 4 split ones go above, some people leave 2 front or 2 rear out for squat/anti squat but id just put em all in there are some writeups on nissansilvia.com but i dont know how similar the skyline subframe bolts etc are, they would probably give some guidance though

apparently this is happening a bit more recently, people doing breakins for keys of imports, i keep mine hidden, but yeah read on silwa forums a few weeks ago about a very similar crime committed in perth.
