Hey all as you might know ive had alot of problems with drive line since i got my car lol.. First of all the car is a R33 Skyline 184RWKW, Clutch is a Heavy duty 6 puck Ceramic Clutch (about 2 months old). First started after about a month of the clutch being in, when i was getting real notchy and little grinds going in to 3rd gear.. and then it started doing it going in to second from first.. I got suggested to put Redline Shockproof Lightweight oil in.. I did so.. and its still did it.. So i got it looked at by boostworx and they said its fine and thats how a RB25 Box should be. Anyhow.. Just recently its been slipping under load.. If i load it and drop the clutch in second it will slip like mad and then drop all pressure in the clutch and then slowly come back over a minute or so. But the thing thats really confusing is.. Sometimes it wont.. Say I do it 5 times, Twice it will slip. I took it to the mechanic's today and he adjusted the peddle and it still seems to be doing it. I rang him back and he suggested it could be the master cylinder. What are other peoples advice on this, Because to get the master and the slave re-gloved or w/e they call it will cost about $500EST. So if i can get some opinions on this it would be great. Thanks all =)

So if i use 95 octane fuel, etc: Bp premium[ The yellow one] ( Not ultimate ) and i just add half a bottle of octane boost in every full tank it should pretty much bring it back up to having 98 octane?

Nah, i have a PowerFC and a bunch of other things lol, Running 13psi also..

Hey all, I recently went away with my GF, thankfully we took her car because i was amazed to find that servos in country towns don't sell 98 octane fuel.. Were looking to go away in my skyline ( R33 RB25DET ) next time but the problem i have is, How am i going to get 98 octane fuel if places don't sell it, I found the lowest they had was 95% octane, So what are the choice's i have? Bring alot of jery cans lol or use 95% octane and just add half a bottle of octane booster to the tank? ( or how ever much you need ) Thanks, Russ.

Saw a White R34 with black graphic on the bonnet, Pulled over on Shepperds hill road. Felt really sorry for you if it was a defect lol, Was a nice 34 as well..

Hey all, The other night i had filled my tank up, And when for a drive though the hills. My mate that was behind me told me that every time i hard turned left, Fuel would come out behind my back tyre. Now i had been noticing fuel on my rear bar and thought it may had been the fuel cap leaking cause it doesn't do that " PSSSHHH" Sound when i open the fuel cap to fill up. But he suggested to me that it was the overflow hose pushing it out cause i filled it so much. But i only had filled it to the point were it clicks off.. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop this other then not filling it to the point where it does click off?

Yea but just cause somethings new doesn't mean that its going to stay strong lol, Id rather spend the extra and have something that im not going to have to replace a year so down the track.

Yea dreamings good lol, But yeah i have seen the brand new box before, i thought you meant a after market stronger box lol. Oosh, eventually i would like around the 350+ rwkw range, But saying that im not going to go out and do that by the end of the year. But in the next few years i would like to have built a mean street car. Thats the plan anyhow.

Id rather just by a complete box -_- The OEM ones come built? But are they any good? O_O

Im terms of a bigger and better gearbox i rang up Horsepowerinabox today, and PPGearbox's do a 1st to 4th set up for around 5700.. And thats just the shafts etc... Thats the cheapest one they have but its guaranteed to be 500% better/stronger then the original box. But thats not including labour to build it and put it all back together.. So im rather confused on what to do now lol. Use my standard box rebuild it and if i do put more power in to it risk having it go again, Or go to the point were im spending 7 grand or so on a box lol.

Ok, Update.. Im going to get the lines done when i take it to boostworx next week cause they have to do some work on my car anyhow. But.. I have noticed lately.. Its been getting harder to get in to gears.. and if i take off fast in first for example, i clutch to go to second it feels like im yanking it out of gear with no clutch.. its a really rough feel like a jerk as it comes out. So im wondering if i borght a dodgey clutch :S
