Recommend Me A Clutch

I currently run a Heavy duty 6puk Ceramic clutch from Xtreme clutches. Its abit of a prick to drive sometimes but you get used to it, You do have to ride it a little bit coming off the lights or taking of on hills. But they tend to not like it.. Mine just shudders if i ride it to much on a hill etc. But other then that im really happy with it.. Ive never had it slip, and every now and again i do put it though its pace's so to speak. -

Ok! The Master and slave cylinders are fine.. When i went to Exhaust Tec today, Mark checked over them for me cause i told him the problem i had while he was fixing my exhaust. And i asked him if he new what the problem could be, and he pretty much said drive it till it brakes and don't worry to much about it till then, cause there a strong box.. Lol. So i don't no where to go from now -
Tbh, I wouldn't put it past them lol.

Im still kinda a newb with cars =( Im not sure were the master or slave cylinders are, I have checked the clutch fluid and its on the level sign ( the full sign ).. But if it would make any difference.. When i let the clutch out.. i hear this kinda clunk.. like the clutch is engaging but really loudly.. and thats just letting it out, it doesn't even have to be in gear.. a mate of mine said its a something bearing in the gearbox i forgot what he called it lol. Im not sure if thats what your talking about R33boy. -
Hey all, You might of read that ive been having some problems with my gearbox. Anyway ive tried alot of things. Ive put Redline Shockproof Lightweight oil in there, After about 500kms it hasn't fixed it, Ive tried changing slower, Changing faster.. Giving it a little rev inbetween gears.. And i honestly don't no whats left other then them ripping my box out to see if its my clutch.. Cause lately it doesn't wanna get 1st in the mornings i have to let the clutch in out in out and keep trying to get it in, Its the same with reverse, Before it just had a slight grind going in to 3rd.. Probably once in 8 times.. Now it will do it once in about 5 or 6.. and now its started doing it going in to second from first.. So its definitely getting worse, Has anyone else had this problem or know anything that it could be? It shouldn't be the clutch because its high up the peddle.. The clutch is a new HD 6 PUK Ceramic clutch. I cant just take it back to the place either cause a mate of mine did it and i haven't been out to get in to contact with him since -_-

Ok, well according to regency tech support its 345 at the front and 355 at the rear for a R33 GTST.. I said is that for the R33 turbo? and he said yes.. the guy was abit of a asshole lol, so im not sure if its the non turbo or not -_- The number is 1300 882 248 If you guys wanted to try, I rang Sturt Police station and he said that he will find out a awnser for me and get back to me.. Not sure how happy i am telling the cops i have a import and giving them my first and last name though :| If i get defected tomorrow this will suck :|

Well i hope they have changed it =( Im sick of trying to keep my car non defectable as possible but still looking nice and sounding nice.

So that means 360 and above is legal yep? If so that sucks Mabye i better call them tomorrow just incase.

I might give them a call tomorrow, just mines 338-340mm at the front about 350mm at the back and thats with coilovers.. so im happy =D, Thanks alot guys

Hey all, does anyone know many mm it is between the guards and the tyre for being to low? Like does anyone know the legal ride height? And where is it measured to. ( Example :Bottom of the guard to the Top of the tyre )

To R33cruiser : I have only had the car for about 2 months.. and since then i only changed it last week to put the redline in it, But the oil was still really golden. To hayden49 : If thats the case i don't mind, I have a 2way that grinds when its cold.. But im told thats normal for them.. And i mean if its a normal thing i don't care.. its just when its a bad thing then thats when i start to get worried about something going on me lol. To StRyDeR: And no it seems to only been shifting up in to 3rd.. I mean with second and 4th its a little bit notchy and thats about it.

Redline Shockproof Lightweight... Its the one i got recommenced by like 8 people they said the heavyweight wont work as well.

Its a brand new 6puk Ceramic HD clutch.. And its fairly high up the peddle, So ive been told by people that it shouldn't be the clutch and yes i thought it was that to.. But i have concentrated on it lol, And it still does it.

Please don't flame me im just a nub! Lol, But i was wondering if theres such a thing.. Im told there is.. But ive searched and haven't really found much on the subject. My gearbox is abit grindy as it goes in to third every now and again and i have tried Redline oil etc.. But im just wondering ( cause it come on after a day of hard driving ) Would i have done something to the gearbox? ( A mate suggested the sin chrome but then he said that doesn't just come on it progress's.. So would this be the start? ) If so why would the gearbox start to die under only 184rwkw.. I haven't grinded the gears or anything, But just now its starting to have a slight grind in to 3rd once every 10 changes.. But morel of the story is.. Does anyone know much about a dog box for a R33? And/Or a rough price? Cause im looking at putting alot more power in it once i have the money, So i would like to start with a strong base. Even though i was told Rb25 Drive line and engines are almost indestructible.

I have had this same problem to when i got my car.. First clean i did on it i was like eww these lights look so bad lol, But i saw it on alot of 33's so kinda figured it was normal.. I tried alot of things on them But a after market polish i use is great. Also Meguiars paint cleaner ( i think it is ) is really good to, but it only keeps them clear for a week or so and then they start to go yellow again so i might try some brasso! And as for the condensation i have that as well.. Its just im not 100% sure about what u mean by resealing like where on the light do you reseal?

Not a 100% mate, But before i got my car alot of people advised me to get one over a 180 or S13, because they are very strong cars.. The Driveline and Engines are quite strong im told..

Hey all, i was just wondering what people opinions are blocking off the vacum hose on the stock bov to get flutter.. I did it cause the i like the sound of the flutter =] and i dont wanna get defected for a bov, but i still wanna keep it half safe with the bov opening up after high revs... But i dont know to much about it ive spoken to some people about it on NS and they said its fine to do. Id just like to go over it with some people that own skylines not silvias haha.
