Haha. Take care of it like a hire car I would think. Out of curiosity, What will it make on pump 98? Also have any of your customers with this much power had a run down the 1/4, if so what time? -

I was not doubting it making this power but rather curious as to how you knew. Obviously you should have a good idea being in the trade and building over 50 to this standard. That's a lot of power and I bet it would be an awesome car to drive. Just what I am looking for. Only problem being I have no where to store anymore cars at the moment. -

BUMP for a nice car. Just wondering, how do you know it will make 850hp on e85? Is that 850hp atw? What psi do you expect that to be at? -
Does a GTR with approximately 400rwkw have any traction issues on the street? I am in no way supporting street racing by this question. Reason I ask is that I have always had rear wheel drive v8's and traction has always been an issue with a manual.

Thanks for the replies. 30K is not a problem. Heard a lot of bad reports with GTR's costing a fortune to maintain, they must be old and worn out.

Thanks MrStabby, that not all bad news then. What are they like to drive in general with the all wheel drive? Is there much turbo lag for a small engine?
-
What are the weak points in the engine, gearbox, transfer and diffs? How much power can the stock gearbox and diff handle? Surely with a built engine and new turbo / turbos it should last a while even if it would have 350-400 RWKW, or are they that unreliable? As mentioned earlier I only want it for a weekend car. I have no problem spending money for upgrades, but I don't want to be continually fixing broken components.

Hi all, I'm looking at purchasing an r32 gtr in the next year or so. I want to know how reliable the engine and gearbox are in general. When I do buy, it will be something decent that has been rebuilt. Just a weekend car. Also I'm not talking standard rebuilt but rather something that has enough power to run a 10sec 1/4 mile. Thanks.
