Hi mate, Honestly but, do you think that even when the budget reached 14K and I approached him and said "hey mate, we're already so close to the budget, yet so many things still need to be done", do you honestly think that would've achieved anything? No it would't, because we would have still gone down the same course of action. I don't want a half done car, I wanted my car to be finished with the original quote that was given, not $5,000 more. Nonetheless, I am not going to go into this fruitless conversation with you. What's done is done, I can't change the past. I need solutions from here. I will be getting my 044 fuel pump (much better than 040), and a fuel pressure regulator to ensure my 555cc injectors hold up. We will also be getting a Q45 AFM and see how that goes. Cheers.
  2. +1 Or when you change gears, make sure you shift to the next gear before revs reach 1,000 rpm. Basically, the atmospheric BOV vents the air that should have originally recirculated back into the intake via the stock plumb back BOV. So, you have air thats already been measured by the AFM escaping into the atmosphere, therefore, you AFR (air fuel ratio) will be distorted for a slight second because there will be an excess of fuel, hence, the stall of the engine. Just change gears soon after you after you hear you BOV go off and youll be fine. Cheers

  11. Wind down the boost a little mate so it settles back to 12psi. It's much easier for the turbo to suck in air with a pod filter rather than the stock air box, hence the reason for the spike. Just wind it back down a little and your be fine. Were you also comparing during different climates? Was it alot colder when you put the pod filter on (cold air outside usually causes a bit more spike)? cheers
  12. Hi Fellas, At the moment, I have nismo 555cc injectors. I currently have 311 rwkw but will be putting more boost in the car soon to get around 370 rwkw and I will need a slight fuel upgrade. My tuner suggest putting a fuel pressure regulator on the car rather than get 740cc injectors, what do you guys thinks? WHat are the advantages and disadvantages of both? First difference is price I guess, injectors are $900 where as FPR is $160. Is there disadvantages associated with running a FPR? THanks fellas
  13. No it will not work the plugs are very different. If you re wire and know what you're doing you can make it work.
  14. cigarette lighter, it is a red wire from memory. I think there is two red ones but, so: 1) Ground the groud wire 2) Stick the positive wire in one of the red wires where the cigi lighter is, if it stays on constatly, its the other one (One wire is a constant direct 12V feed, where as the other one works from the light switch) Cheers
