  1. Hi Guys, I am planning on getting some starcorp impul wheels 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear. I have around 370 rwkw on my r33 GTST (RB25/30 with GT3540) Anyway, my question is, are these wheels that significantly heavier than my R34 GTT wheels that I will feel a significant decrease in acceleration? Or do you think at that sort of power level the weight difference in wheels wouldn't mean jack shit? I've read a few posts, people saying they are "sooo heavy" and makes your car sluggish, but seriously, can 5kg extra per wheel make the car that much slower?? Can people with personal experience please get back to me as I wanna buy these wheels really soon. Cheerio.
  2. Hooorah! Got them for $100 delivered! Thanks champ!
  3. Point taken, but lucky for me the skirts were no where near the door.
  4. Hi, could you please give me prices on all your available 265/35/18 slemi slicks? Thanks
  5. Ill give you $100 for your factory rear pods delivered to Canberra
  6. And you'd modify edges on the top that don't touch anything because....??
  7. I just bought on of these from eBay in the box with EVERYTHING for $420.00 I think $500 is a rip off.
  8. WHat sort of changes? WHy would painting it matter? If you did have to make alterations, commen sense tells me that it would be on the edges or on the inside of the side skirt, why would you have to modify the outside of the skirt since it doesn't impeed on anything?
  9. I heard from somewhere else they they are factory, but what I don't understand is, if they were factory, how come so many skylines done have them? Or is it only the M - spec ones? I dunno... BTW, that photo didn't work for me for some reason, maybe cuz I am on my work comp, will try later at home.. Cheers
  10. Uhhh no... was I supposed to? Can't I assume that if I buy something that it will fit? Will it be a big deal since I didn't do a pre fit?
  11. Here is another photo I found of the pod... Someone one this forum must have it??
  12. Yeah I've already tried those places. I am just waiting for bodyform to get back to me as their pics didnt work on the website.....
  13. No that's the one. I know, it doesnt even look like it has pods at all, thats the beauty of it!
  14. Hi guys, I was after a particular set of rear pods for my r33 GTS-T, I've seen them around a few time but I can't seem to find anyone that's selling them!! I have attached a picture of the rear pods, they are a very basic design, but looks very neat and tidy. someone PLEASE tell me where I can get my hands on a pair!! Cheers fellas!
  15. Then this is what shall be done.
  16. Hi fellas, I fibre glassed the side skirts and painted them, they look better now without the hole I think. Attached a pic to show you guys. Cheers
  17. Hi fellas, My build finally finished and the RB25/30 block will be in the car in a few days. I will be running: 1) GT35R 0.86 A/R with Tial 38mm external waste gate 2)256 inlet 264 exhaust cams with adjustable gears, 3) plazmaman plennum, 4) 3.5" turbo back exhaust with high flow cat 5) power FC + all the other usual mods I.e. front mount, 040 fuel pump, 555 nismo injectors etc etc. Anyways, I know that my power output should be around the 350 - 370 rwkw. Now, I know screamer pipes don't make any difference under 250 rwkw if the exhaust is not restricted. However, with around 360 rwkw, I am begining to think that if I have the screamer plumbed into the exhaust, it will restrict it alot. I am not in it for the sound, actually, I think it sounds quite shit, but anyway, thats my opinion. However, if I am going to lose power by not having a screamer, I think I will put it on. I need some opinions from people in this power range or people that have had experience with such things, screamer or no screamer? WIll I lose power if I plumb it back at this power range with a 3.5" straight through exhaust with a high flow cat????? Cheers fellas!
  18. Yes I did purchase them from him, good quality stuff I must say, feels very sturdy. I fiberglassed the holes and painted them. Will post pics soon. job turned out well, would have saved me some time but not to fibre glass them.
  19. I will be painting and fitting them myself, it would just save me time not having to fibreglass it by getting it without the whole. Thanks anyways lads.
  20. His have holes/vents....
  21. If you go to the following link you will see them: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/40...400R+sideskirts As you can see the skirts on the white R33 don't have holes in them....
  22. Hi guys, I am intending to purchase 400R side skirts for my R33, but I noticed that there are some going around without the little vent thing in them, (i.e. without the cut outin the side skirt) Are these also 400R side skirts, if so, where can I get my hands on some that don't have the cut out (saves me from having to fiberglass the one with the hole)? Cheers
  23. Sorry, rods aren't stock. they are spool RB30 forged H-Beam rods. They cost around $850 just for themselves. So you guys still think it's expensive?
