AVCR is the best. I got the PFC boost control kit that uses the same solinoid, the boost curve is flat at 20 PSI! Get one, you wont look back.

that's the whole point, once you get your fuel pressure in line (i.e. 43 PSI), your mechanic will be able to tune the car. Of course it will run rich if you don't tune it..... To fix your problem, you need a FPR AND a tune.

100%!!! Get a FPR mate..... What you've done is VERY risky!!! THis means they cannot squirt any more fuel in. If it's a cold night, and your boost spikes, thus, taking in more air, your injectors won't be able to compensate for the extra air flow and some major detonation could occur. I advise you get a FPR ASAP and take your car to your tunner!

40+ KW at the wheels with an exhaust!!!!! Not for shit! MAYBE an extra 15 - 20 rwkw. Step 1- Straight through exhaust with dump pipe (Should be around the $1,300 mark for a good custom setup) Step 2 - Pod filter (Should be about $60 with the flange which you can purchase from repco) Step 3 - Front Mount Intercooler (about $900 for a decent one installed) Step 4 - Manual boost controller (turbo tech) wind it up to about 10-11 PSI (At this stage, your car should not be running too rich or retarded) $30 At this stage you should have about 170 - 180 rwkw (About $2,300). If you choose to get a power FC (which is over your budget) would be a wise move, should get you to a bit over 200 rwkw. Also, don't forget to put a coke can in between you BOV and piping to give you the extra 120 rwkw of compression surge.

Open up your AFM, ensure the little prongs are attaches to the wires and welded on securely. My AFM was was like that and my car would jerk sometimes, and even turn off by itself.

ahahaha, I remember when I fell for buying this product. Let me guess, it's got that glassplexin stuff which turns to "glass" when it hardens on the car? Don't waste you money mate, it's sh!t. Not only is it difficult to apply, but it's a bitch to take off. I spent about 5 hours polishing my car, as soon as it rained, the polish went away... STAY AWAY! Go buy some meguiars wet look stuff for about $20. Does wonders.

It's put in 4th gear so the tuner is able to tune it. For example, you would not be able to tune a car in 1st gear because power just comes on way too quick. Yes it does matter what gear you're in, 1st and 2nd gear will have much different power graphs compared to 4th gear. Take it to another tuner to get a second opinion. Maybe something was wrong with the car (i.e. detonation) so the tuner had to pull timing out of it, hence the low power? Maybe there's carbon build up in your engine causing pinging, or a hot spot on the piston. Take it to another tuner, if he tells you he couldn't pull anything more than 250rwkw without it pinging of its tits, then somethings wrong with your car. The fun and games begin.

got same setup, apart from I got the 0.82 A/R. I have a VERY conservative tune (f#$k all timing, and running rich, knock doesnt go over 15) and I made 312 rwkw at 17 PSI. I suggest you go see another tuner.

I am genuinely curious, how do you get wheel spin, going 160km/h, with 230rwkw and 255 tyres????? As I said before, I have 350rwkw, and my car doesn't sping the tyres going 160km (maybe if I hit a bump). This is why I think it's a load of crock, but please, feel free to explain and prove me wrong
