  1. Try Gavin Woods Auto tech on gold coast, he did my mates GTR. It wasn't cheap around 10 hours or so in labour alone + Noltecs bushes $200~ but if you have experience working on cars you can do it yourself and get someone to press in the new bushes.
  2. I will do $120 + freight. for 4wd R32 front subframe. pm me if you want it. Stephen
  3. what sort, if you need one for gtr or gts4 r32 then I have one also. $150 +freight $300 I will include front wishbones, hubs and lower arms as well + freight. Stephen
  4. First thing to check. did you renew any of the rear steering arms when you fitted the hicas rack - I presume you fitted the old arms to the hicas lock bar. If you did then do the following... Jack up the rear of the car to get wheels in air, support on stands and then grab the wheel at a quarter-to-three, try to move the wheel(as the rear steering would have). If you have any movement at ALL then you will most likely need the bushes in the rear hub replaced and the rear steering arms too. I had Fulcrum at Rocklea do mine in my GTS4 and a mates GTR, they did a pretty good job plus they now have jigs to fit the bushes from doing my car. Also check that the rear subframe bushes aren't stuffed, the ones behind the doors are silicone filled and the ones near the spare tyre well are solid rubber. The solid ones don't normally cause a problem, just the front ones - which Noltec make. Good luck
  5. upper arms, they do it. heaps of info in the searches. when they really are worn they will clunk when you hit bumps etc. if they are aftermarket they may have grease nipples for lubrication - try the grease. or if they are the stock ones you need to replace the bushes or get new arms(~$200 each from Nissan). Welcome to the expensive business of getting your SKyline suspension in order, thankfully its a car that gives a lot of 'Go' for the money.
  6. hey, just a comment on your diff oil, isnt that oil just for gearboxes? because thats what I used to use in my GTS4's gearbox, the gts4's had a different type of lsd which used lsd oil shouldn't you be using some sort of lsd oil? check out link below. I would still check the lsd oil, to make sure its up to spec, but vmx 80 is for the gearbox. http://www.datateck.com.au/lube/castr_au/d...e=45&Model=1316 Stephen
  7. start saving dude. A mate got his rGTr's right rear wheel bearing replaced and it was $290 just for the part, I think it was about $450 all up. I have a set of GTS4 hubs ( comes with wishbones and upper arms too) that would suit. I am in Canberra. They are the same as the GTR. Bearings feel good too. Stephen
  8. two front subframe bushes are filled with silicon, rear two (up by spare wheel well are solid). expensive to replace if you pay someone else, looking at 10 hours labour + parts. I uploaded a how to on this a while ago, dont know if it ever got into the tutorials tho. I did it myself, only getting help when I was refitting the subframe back to the vertical bolts. It is a Tricky job but not impossible if you think it through and are careful. Stephen

  16. Hi check out the Toyo Teo's they are supposed to be good, reasonable price about $110 for 205/65/15, they aren't a performance tyre and I think I will try them once my current tyres go. Another cheaper brand is Tornados which are directional and for the same size as above are about $90 each- apparently they have some connection to Pirelli~. They have been really good on my R31, taking a fair bit of provocation to light up in the wet - the car is std except for extractors and sports exhaust. Much better then the so called "brand' name goodyears that were on it.
  17. Yes it will fit a GTR but I am not sure how good it is. I don't know if it squeaks or not. I would recommend getting a new one $180 from Nissan if you negotiate or replacing the bushes in your existing one - of course if you want this one so can get bushes pressed in and fit yourself it would be prefect for that. $20 plus post. Stephen
  18. Headlight SOLD. Steering wheel SOLD. COILs sold. Will sell injectors separately for $20 each.
