What was your car maing when it was OK...What is the Hp rating of the Turbo? Is it a straight bolt on to standard manifold on piping?? cheers Jose

I know of a work mates son who lost his car for three months and it cost $250 for the tow truck plus $15 per day.....albeit the car was stored undercover... I'm also from Balgownie where that skyline is from, any one know the colour of the skyline??.

Thanks Ralf....I'd like to have your power at the wheels for sure...We may have been only three cars before the pie shop... but we did get some attention driving there. Alberts R34 damm, its quick up the hills.. or was it the driver? lol. Having the car for 5 years has been expensive, but alot cheaper than a divorce...lol. wouldn't trade the Nizo for anything.... looking forward to the next run down south (or anywhere). Well, I only intended on taking my girls and dog for a walkat the gong... Dont know how I ended up at Robertson pie shop. LOL. Girls really enjoy the drive up and down the windy roads. Look forward to cruising with you guys from the starting point next time. Not a bad idea to have planned halts for all to catchup during cruise. Cheers

Have you checked that all the intercooler plumbing is OK. I had a similar issue a few years ago with the car running OK off boost but when boosting (could only get ~3psig) car ran like a dog and smoked heaps(black)... Found a hole in the piping that was causing loss of boost and making a funny sound when attempting to make boost. cheers

Series 2 RB25DET Engine recently rebuilt with Aries Pistons 20 thou over, cometic head gasket and head rebuilt... etc ECU -Microtech Hi-flowed Turbo TO4E by Fred @ Turbolic Blitz blow-off valve HKS Ram Filter in Polished Box Sard fuel regulator with gauge Walbro Fuel pump Profec B Boost controller Custom inlet plenum, Custom PWR intercooler and plumbing Aftermarket 80mm throttle body 3" dump pipe, 3.5" cat and 3" exhaust Splifire DI coils With these mods and tuned by Adam @ JEM netted 229rwkw @~ 6200RPM (factory ~147kw)- very nice power from down low Issues with backpressure and compressor surge limited boost being raise above 16psig dropping down to 14 . Once sorted will raise boost to 20psi.
