  1. I know sequential gearbox come with a number to show them what gear is being engaged. The question is can that principle be applied to fully manual cars. The numbers 1-2-3-4-5-6-R can be displayed on a lcd screen corresponding to the gears you are on. Just curious. If it's possible, anyone has a link to how it is made? Thanks.
  2. Lol that burnout was done on a GTS N/A (It has 4 bolts on the wheels). Btw off topic here, how can you do a burnout with the car standing still like in the video? When you press the brake, all 4 discs lock and thus no burnout. How was that possible? Any links or items was used/installed?
  3. i see. thanks craved.
  4. Let say if someone moved the CAS off a RB25DET, how do you know if it's tune back to it's original position?
  5. Problem now is misfiring on idle. According to the workshop, it's connected to my coilpack as it hasn't been changed since 1996. I'm the 2nd owner so the first owner didn't bother to change anything i guess. lol Mileage is over 250k atm.
  6. It seems my coilpack harness isn't spared as well. It's in horrible condition. As soon as i remove the connectors, bits of plastics falls off from inside the connectors. Time to get a new one i guess.
  7. I found out (searched) that a good way to check faulty coilpack is using multimeter and the reading should be around 0.6 and 0.9 but that's for a RB20DET. Is the reading the same for R33 with RB25DET either with or without ignitors. Attached is a picture of a Series2 coilpack (hopefully). Three terminals. Which terminals should i use to test? I used 1&2 and got 1.0 and sometimes a 1.1 on the same coilpack. Is that good or bad?
  8. it seems to have nvcs on it's intake side BUT i could be wrong as the covers for r32 are interchangeable with r33. btw nvcs means it's a r33 head.
  9. I'm guessing 2 options here; One: Get a custom adapter made/fabricated Two: Get a BOV that is suited for the R33.
  10. Answer. Yes! Second answer, also Yes with custom piping.
  11. It's funny no one ever mentions this website, Perfectrun.com.au since it's Australian. I order everything from them except things which are oversized and cannot be sent to me. http://www.perfectrun.com.au/performance%2...umturbopipe.htm Model number is : 232 030 A for ECR33
  12. the reversing beeper is only on the 4-sp auto version i think.
  13. Just use the 9" grinder. It will be fast and smooth.
  14. If it does go, i'll get the nismo one. drop in and easy to replace. Should have similar or close to the same capacity like the tomei one.

  19. Hmmm. Whenever i turn the ignition to ON (not START), I hear a weird sound behind my car. Something like what trel mentions. How can you tell if the pump is on it's way out?
  20. Hicas lock bar installed a few days back. I don't feel any difference though. lol
  21. How exactly do you tune a fuel pump? If you install a large fuel pump with stock injectors, there are gonna be issues as the pump wull not fully be filled before going to your injectors. I may be wrong.
  22. I was gonna change my intake and outlet turbo pipes to Cusco Aluminium types and after i removed my old steel pipes, i found some oil residues inside the pipes. Is this a major concern or should i just wipe them off and install the Aluminium pipes?
  23. Alittle off-topic but how much is it to tune a powerfc over there in Australia as it's ridiculously expensive to tune one here in my country.
  24. Yup. That's what i heard. Grill difference only.
  25. Np. Glad i was able to help.
