The electronics in my 4 door r34 have had problems recently. I had problems with my coil packs and got them replaced. Shortly after I have had problems with the Pop up in dash screen. No I have realised something is draining my battery. Has become flat 3 times this month!! On the 3rd time my CD player and 6 stacker from the boot have fail me. Does any one have any suggestions to what the problem may be?

yeah you were all right. The next day the car went to shit.. They are all replaced now and the engine light is off and running smooth! Thanx for your help.. I hope any one with this problem in the future doesnt make the same mistake.. replace them all !

My engine light came and and I got a service they hooked up the Nissan computer but they couldn't find the problem. I rang Power Road car sales where i bought my R34 Gt from and they identified the problem by just me explaining it over the phone. I just got a new coil pack installed by them today, costing 240, (130 for the coil pack form Nissan) They also claim to have a machine that tells them which coil pack is playing up.The car runs smooth now, but my engine light is still on. I was told that the computer needs resetting, but I would have thought that the light would switch its self off once the problem is solved. Does any one know how to reset computer or do i need to take the car to a specialist?

Its called night shade. I bought it from supercheap for $18 After 2 coats. A rough idea how much light gets through After 2 coats was enough Make sure you dont get any on your paint at all because it will eat the clear coat (i got a lil bit on there

i roughly get 10l/100km driving slowly most of the time with a few hot footed moments.

A kitted, black, 34 coupe truning down sprinvale rd this afternoon. (I had turbo envy)

spotted a black 33 with SAU stickers driving past parkmore shopping centre around 3:45, it looked hot

Had my liner for a couple of month now. V happy with it Charles89 is a very good friend of mine and kindly took some killer pics for me. His now looking for clients interested in him taking photos for them.. PM me if interested.

How much do you think is a reasonable price to get this job done?

I have the pop un screen in my 34 too. I have seen other 34s on the forum with aftermarket head units but they don't have the screen. I have been to JB HI-FI and Straithfield and they panic when they screen. No body wanted to touch it. Apparently the screen and the CD/Casset player are all integrated togeather and it is a costly exercise to rewire the whole set. On top of that they have to create a new face for the din because thay dont have any that fit in the 34s V shape console. Id be interested to know if anybody with a screen has been able to change their sound system besides the speaker set up? good luck

Ohh good! I just did the reverse and indicator light on my four door 34 be cos its seperate to the round break lights i wanted to match it to the car (its black) and give it more of a classic skyline look. I just wanted to make sure it was ok to do it to the outside because of sun exposure and such. Just to clarify have u used anything to protect the spray like a gloss coat?

Looks good mate did u do that to the outer of your break light or get in behind it?

I like it ALOT! I have been thinking about doing this to my 4 door R34. Im still deciding. 1. Laws lol 2. If i ever want it the was it was originally (for resale for eg) can I the SPRAY off? Any help would be much appreciated

looks nice How much was the custom console? I was thinking off getting a new head unit so i could play Mp3s and usb. I found a good deal on one and asked about installation and he said that to get a custom din was $200 plus. I didnt go ahead with it cos it sounded like a rip off to me. This is JB HI-FI btw
