    ive read alot about alarms with turbo timers... how does that work? for instance the m80g? does it basically have the turbo timer unit that is wired through the alarm? but do you have controll over that turbo timer? am looking for the new 2009 m60g

    if the ecu has 2 fault codes will it flash (for example) 4 pause 3 pause 6 pause 8? show 2 fault codes?? or is it different?

    wow... didnt think my topic would get this much attention... alright guys, well it looks like ill be looking at a mongoose alarm. has my car 2 weeks now and i want an alarm system before something bad might happen. anyone reccomened and anyone on here do me a good deal with a mongoose + installation??

    hey man still got the timer? is it a 3 pin one? as in has a connection that looks like this: [ _ ] with the horizontal being more underneath the verticles

    shouldnt have affected it. unless u went near the door trims?? id check you connections behind the buttons on the door. is it both controls? (passenger and drivers side) or just one side?

    yeah, one thing to do would be to get a mate to drive from behind in your case and watch while it happens for smoke out the exhaust. in your case but nicrwks, yours sound more along the lines of a boost missfire. couple of things: 1: what rpm is this happening at? 2: what fuel is in your car? 3: how much boost you running?

    anyone got one guys? just after a blank factory skyline key to fit an R33

    your right here. the series 2 has a diff engine, interior trim, dash, bonnet and front quarter panels. the doors rear quarter panels boot etc are all interchangeable between series 1 and 2's. however as ninja said, the skyline boot garnish is slightly different on the series 1

    hey mate chasing a hks turbo timer/blitz one. got a hks one already in but want another to just plub into existing harness i have get back to me

    id check your thermostats out and see if they're opening and closing when they're spose to be

    as i said man, its just the vent fans opening and closing. you can fix it if you want to, its a b**ch to get in there but. basically just needs some lubing up

    hey mate yeah check you plugs, they should be gapped to .8mm. i know you've upgraded your coilpacks but id check em out again, just to make sure its not any chance they're arking out. i'd have a look at your afm (if you got one), might be a bit of solder on the inside has broken off therefore your not getting any readings. hope this helped a bit

    im thinking your coil packs are arching out. is it a backfire or a boost miss? backfire is where the engine has two much fuel put into it and it expels it in one burst out your exhaust. could be caused by: 1. bad fuel 2. shit in the bottom of your tank if you had low amount of petrol 3. running too rich but im leaning more towards checking your coil packs

    hey man just try and normal shop from memory they're just a plain old bulb.

    Just the poddy sucking in air. You'll still get a bit of turbo spool and if ur reading the stock boost guage it reads in negative and positive pressure. Anything below 0 is vaccum pressure and above 0 is boost pressure. So even if you apply only a small amount of throttle your still increasing vaccum pressure = more air being sucked in = louder noise

    Hey mate, If the clicking is comming from the air con vents when you turn your key to "acc" or start up the car its just the vents opening. Mine does that on start up, goes away, and then if i put the air con on and have it on feet, and then move it to body, it clicks. Not a real big problem just another thing comming in most skylines. A mates 33 and another mates 34 all do the same.

    hey guys chasing up 2 blank nissan skyline keys to fit an R33 series 2. need to get some more cut and all ive got is a sh*t weird one, and chasing original skyline key. please pm or reply if anyone has some. one would be fine, prefer 2 if possible

    hey guys noticed tonight that the ticking goes away from idle after a moderate drive. bit of hitting boost rather than my not hitting it at all. no/little boost = ticking at idle in other words... any ideas?
