hey guys today i manage to check the wiring, wiring inside the sub and the amp's fuse. all fine. so no idea what is wrong now, also worked out i have a monoblock if that changes. any ideas would be great, will check connection to head unit tomorrow

hey guys well had my new car two weeks now, loving it so far. anywho my car came with the 34 gtt wheels on it, so today i unplugged my sub to see what spare wheel i had. check the wheel, put the subs back in the boot, wired them up and now nothing. also, the sound system still works but just no subs. i dunno much about the sound system but its a cadence (or somthing) amy that is powering 2 JVC subs and for some reason they decided not to work. i manage to ellinimate the following possible causes: 1: wires touching (if they did at any point there was no power running through the sound system/car) 2: wrong wires in wrong connections (dont know much about sound systems but i remember what wire connected where, but it didnt work, tried change the wires to the terminals but still nothing, hook it back up the way i rememberd undoing them but still nothing.) there is power to the amplifier, and when i turn the key to the first notch that powers only the clock and sound system, i get one doof from the subs but then nothing with music going. can anyone help me?! its driving me nuts!!!!

Kilometers Per Tank (Based On Driving Area & Driving Style): 370 - city/highway 300 - city/highway/some fun time Other Comments: Im not sure how many kms i should be getting out of a tank, only had my car a couple of weeks but. Car is fairly stock apart from a pod filter and turbo back exhaust. been reading up on the o2 sensor problem, could this be the cause? how can i diagnose the problem? (faulty o2 sensor?)

hey man ive had the car a week, so i dunno what pads are on them, i put another coat on this morning and let it "soak in", and they have been quiet as. if i want a permanent fix but, would putting on a good pair of stock pads and rotors be the best bet? cheers for all the help

hey guys bought a can of de-squeek, and applied it, worked like magic, wears off pretty quickly though i find, in like 20-30mins of driving. it says to apply to rotor, so do i apply it to side facing outwards towards the wheel? (the shiny side?) or is it actually applied to the rotor part underneath where the pad sits? i used it on the shiny side bit, it worked like magic sill but it did wear off quickly

hey cheers man, somthign i should point out, my car is missing the inner guards (infront of the front wheels) would this have anything at all to do with it? for instance by always keeping the brakes cold or somthin?!?!

hey guys got a 33 bout a week ago and i fella i bought it off told me it had a hks 1.5 diff in it, now when i go round corners, usually accelerating in 1st or 2nd gear, i get one wheel that looses traction in a bunnyhop sort of motion i must say that to me this is incredibly annoying, it also happens sometimes in reverse. SO my first question is, has anyone heard of this item? (just wanna make sure its legit) also, i just intend to use my car for street use only, is there any point in having it for the street? and lastly, any ideas on how much it would be to remove? (im a fairly handy man but not very good with diffs) cheers

thanks for your helps guys. just wanna know now what moves i should make to elinimate possible problems? like bedding in etc... i know bugga all about braking systems so im a bit stumped, and it is so embarrasing pulling up to fuel up and the only thing everyone can hear is a screech from the brakes

hey mate, ive tried a couple of bedding in runs, however not really a track man so just been on normal roads, it sounds like the brakes are braking but it hurts them to do so. To eliminate a bedding in problem, should i do a couple of hard stops (aka: 60 - 0 five times etc) and if squeeling continues will that signify that it is not due to the bedding in phase? thanks for all your help mate

also to add, car has a full exhaust system, extractors to a 2inch cat back supercat exhaust

hey guys, i recently purchased myself a R33 s2 skyline (must say im loving it) anywho, i have really squeaky brakes, but heres the catch, the brakes will squeak when i push the brake 15-20%, its really loud squeak, more like a scream, when i apply 40-50% of braking the loud squeak goes away and a really faint one occurs. it has a pair of fairly new pads on it, and the rotors look new too. so i was wondering what my best bet would be, think about purchasin a pair of the standard pads an rotors? or could this squeak just be a wearing in phase? any light shed on this would be a great help cheers also, the guy who i bought the car off told me he had replaced the pads with hks race pads. anyone heard of them? coz i havent, could it be due to these aswell?

hey mate, what price you after? also, do u have the pad and rotors of the upgraded m-spec brakes. chasing the stock ones to hopefully get rid of squeal but want something thats gonna stop me quickly still cheers

hey guys, well i recently purchased an s2 r33 skyline, and it has a hks 1.5 diff in it. now i dont know much about diffs or anything but i realised that the 1.5 is 1.5mm leeway. however if i take a corner at 20 or 30 in 2nd gear, the wheel slips like a bitch. my first question is: does it put more strain on the drivetrain? is it really needed? will no 1.5 is there any losses or anything? if i want to take it out, where i go to? thanks guys

hey guys, just thought id let you know that i finally got my R33 its a 1996 R33 gts25t type m, sonic silver, 34gtt wheels, clean as paintwork... soo happy with it!! im on southside area, round mt ommaney if anyone knows that area. will be posting pics up hopefully 2moro. cheers
