sorry to bring up a old thread. but does the R33 rb25 intake the same as the R34 rb25 intake? as if i had a gtr manifold adapted to a r33 rb25 runners it should bolt up fine to my head?

after the little pin clip things that connect the two bars that lock in the brake pads on the front of a r33. so same as z32, r32 gtr or the r33 calipers. also for me to install the rb26 from cam cover i belive i need the rb26 back plate as well as the rb25 one is different. if anyone can help please send me an email at - [email protected] Thanks again Curt

what do you do with the aac valve?

ok i have S2 RS4 Stagea with R33 slotted rotors and brakes all round.. the rears bolt on no drama's and i got braided lines made up for them. the standard stagea calipers use a m14 bolt and the R33 runs a m12 ( r34 uses the m14 which makes a direct swap) so i had some 2mm x 20mm sleeves made up to make the m12 bolt sit nicley inside the hub. you also need to remove the restrictor ( well thats what i'm calling it anyway ) inside the caliper using a small screw then the standard brake lines wil bolt up as normal.. as far as i got i could not find anyone that could make up braided lines for the fronts as they run from one side of the hub to the other using a series of brackets and steels pipes, so yeah no go so far. any more info just let me know Curt

Is this it? yeah i went to have alook at this one as well.. it looked really nice but when i drove an hour to get done there and then the guy said that the wheels didn't come with it i was pretty pissed.. also he told me that the engine and gearbox had been changed from stock to gtr running gear then back to stock.. something i was really keen on. but insaying that the r34 front end makes the blood rush from my head

i think there are just the standard dial set but just in the el style.. so 180 speedo. pretty sure s1 and s2 would be different, as s2 have tiptronic.

if it is dodge, somone has gone to alot of trouble just to make it look like a 260rs. the kit looks abit out maybe because the rear wing isn't on it though..

here is a pic of the setup i bought off a guy, its a R33 rb25 bottom runners cut with plates welded to it for the itb's to bolt to. everything bolts up tps, water inlet and standard injector rail. the only i don't know about is the aac valve. but yeah the guy i got it off had it on a R33 race car that he had and said it worked fine. there's one pic i have there that is one with a top feed rail on that suits gtr injectors too. just wondering if it is possible to change to a R33 tps if you were changing the T/B aswell. going to install GTR intake and just wondering if it can be done otherwise i will have to adapt the neo one to the gtr throttle assembly. Thanks Curt

hey guys i have one similar to that rips nz was doing. only difference is that i will be running GTR injectors with a top feed rail. pics attached.

just an update if you guys wanted to know.. i finally found a rail that mounts to the standard r33 mounts but uses top feed injectors. did a trial fit with standard GTR injectors and it all sweet. the only real expensive part was the rubber insulators for the top of the injectors from nissan, with 6 of them and 6 o-rings and $150 later. found out that the Neo tps is different design to the R33 one, there was one guy on there that had made up an adpater plate that goes on to the end and the neo one attaches too (pics). also does anyone know if you can adapter a R33 tps to a R34 ecu?? check all hose clamps and for air leaks.

after painting mine i just used a file to gently take off the paint on the letters. did the same on my r32 years ago and didn't rust up

if we are not getting the guys to fit them are they still able to load the stock map to the ecu?

well atleast for me i have one of the tv technicians at work that can do the installing part for me, just have to find out if they can still do the price without install. I need the car on the road everyday, reason being that my wife and child need it.

the haltech was already on the car when i got it. the boards are about $300 i think and i have a service tech that can install that for me. i can't see why you couldn't run the nistune and the haltech together to be able to run the z32??

yeah so you need, R33 GTS-t Rotors, R33 GTS-t Calipers, R33 GTS-t pads, new bolts with bushes and remove the flare fitting inside the front calipers to take the larger banjo bolt. thats it. with the rears the standard r33 lines are too short so i got braided ones made up for it. Thanks Curt

like this?? i bought these awhile ago and are still getting things together before i install, but it is the bottom intake cut with adapter plates welding to the ends that mate upto the 6 throttle bodies. it also uses the standard fuel rail and injectors as well. Thanks Curt

yeah also with the stagea calipers (Front) they use a 14mm bolt you will need to get a 12mm bolt that is 52mm long i think and also get some bushes made up to locate the bolt inside the bigger hole... if you talk to tim at [email protected] and tell him what you are doing he will be able to make up a set like he did for me.
