wanted r34gtr

would adding new front pipes make much difference to the power ? I'm trying to keep his cost down as a change in the dumps would cost alot , plus if you change the dumps you'd be silly not to change the turbos and then the list goes on

does anyone know what size the standard front pipes are on a r34 gtr. Inlet and outlet size ? Would the standard front pipe and dumps be sufficent to flow 360hp atw . I already have a 3 inch cat back system . If not sufficent what size front pipes should i get eg 2.5 inch inlet and 3inch outlet ? to flow 360hp with stock turbos and ecu and boost of course . cheers

hey r31nismoid , so if i was after 250awkw i don't need to get a power fc. I'm only going as far as stage 1 mods for now eg. exhaust, ebc 1 bar , air filter. If later on i decide to go to the next stage ( eg turbos, injectors, cams etc ) what is the limit of the stock ecu ? 280 awkw or more or less. how much did it costs to rebuild a diff ? cheers

hi everyone, just wondering if anyone knows the costs for rebuilding a r34 gtr rear diff. I have been told by a suspension centre that the noise is coming from a diff. I took the car to a diff guy and he said it is definietly the diff. He said it will cost abbout $1000.00 to rebuild. It is not blown yet , but makes noises . If it was blown i would be up for at least $3000. Anyone had such experiences. cheers

The car already has exhaust,ebc and clutch. Looking at modifying the car for the least amount of money for the max amount of power without scarificing reliabilty. Will definetly add computer - they say with computer,ebc, exhaust and 1bar boost i should get about 250rwkw.I was told with cams gears as well i might get 270rwkw ,( no cams were mentioned though ). Any more power , then thats where more bucks are needed like turbos, injectors, fuel pump etc. I don't want to spend excessive money to get a little more power if u know waht i mean . A pfc and tune will cost me 1500 and cam gears about 1500 . So for 3k i could get up to 270 rwkw .On a stock engine i think 300rwkw with be about the max even with aftermarkerket turboes, inj and pump added ( which would cost another 5k for 30 kw. cheers

can someone please explain what these are and how they work , what can be achieved from using them . from what i've read they are used to make some more power , but that is all i know . Also are poncams, cams and cam gears all in one package ? cheers

I know this has been asked thousands of times, but are the prices of r34 gtrs going to take a big drop or will they just slowly depreciate ? I'm wondering if I should buy one now or wait till the end of the year as I heard they will be low 40k or high 30k . (for a stocker) . J-spec seem to have some good cheap ones on their site. cheers everyone
