hey Jeffworld2.. not yet.. need to find a subframe for the 34.. I'm sure that's what my uncle was talking about (he had a look at it lastnight).. because he said it wasn't the control arms.. just the lower suspension frame so I'm assuming it's the whole frame.. for the rear suspension..? dad's gonna call me back.. it's actually at my parents house in Glenwood (hills area).. while I'm here in Mount Annan without my poor baby.. wonder how she's holding.. OK well it turns out to be the lower suspension sub frame.. trying to source out parts.. anyone know of any other places to get parts.. hopefully in the hills shire.. blacktown area? even parramatta.. .. hey Cassbo.. where is SSS located.. do u happen to have their phone number? I've looked it up and there are quiet a few companies called SSS.. there's SSS automotive imports.. SSS and mechanical .. SSS auto parts.. which one? Cheers

Do they sell them at any tyre shop? Like bob jane? How much were they roughly? Thanks heaps DIF.. because we are on a very tight budget.. still need to do 100k service on both our cars.. now coz I've stuffed the tyre and alignment and whatnot that's another few hundred.. not to mention new rims..

Thanks DIF and Cassbo.. Actually talked about this later that night.. one of these days my partner is gonna take me out for a bit of defensive driving .. he did a course a while back.. I wish I had known to just take my foot off the accelerator but unfortunately it all comes down to my inexperience as a driver.. I think we may be getting a shitter just for me to drive around to gain more experience before I drive the Skyline again.. you know when I look back I think I pushed harder on the accelerator as I lost control because I did a full 180.. I've learnt that lesson the hard way.. Hiya Beer Baron I'm not sure about the tyres.. but I suspected that my wheel alignment was a little off before the incident.. silly me thought I could leave it for a little while because it didn't seem that bad.. just goes to show hey..

Thanks so much for all your help guys .. The funniest thing is I don't normally go that way.. I just came from my friends house in Dean Park and just wanted to visit before bringing my kids down to my parents for the day.. I am very lucky because my kids and I all came out unscratched.. my baby isabella is 6mnths old and she came out all smiles.. I was in complete shock because I knew it was going to be greasy and made a mental note not to fang the car around anywhere... esp around a turn.. scariest feeling when you're not in control of the car.. I am sooo fortunate not to have hit anyone else.. I was really shaken because only a few metres away from where the car stopped there was a father with his two young kids and I'll never forget the look on his face.. the fear.. he didn't let go of his kids till I had driven off.. I'm lucky my uncle is a mechanic and he'll be able to source out some parts for me, he's coming to have a look at the car this arvo.. I'm just waiting for the verdict... turbo_brian .. sorry to hear about your misfortune.. you're right we're very lucky none of our loved ones were hurt.. had I been on a narrow street I would not have been so lucky.. msnismo, cassbo, GTR_32U, Duncan, Adriano, Bazzie, Thanks for the help and support.. I just want it to be fixed so that I can drive my baby again.. how much do u think it would be at a repair shop? 500? 600?

do you remember how much it cost him in all.. where's your mate live? where did he have it repaired?

hi everyone Not the worst of accidents but I had my own little brush with death today.. I was coming from Quakers Hill PkWY to turn right onto Sunnyholt Rd..it had just started to drizzle.. I misgudged my speed and lost control (in the middle turning lane) as I was turning the car began veering towards the right .. I turned the wheel to the left to correct it and ended up crossing over the median strip.. spinning to a stop (ended up facing Quakers Hill pkWY) in the bus lanes.. scared the shit out of me because I had cars both to my left and right and I have no idea how I didn't right the car off.. or hit anyone in the process.. one of the scariest moments in my life (besides giving birth - in both cases I thought I was gonna die) So anyways.. the car seemed fine.. until I noticed a huge dint in my rear right wheel's rim.. I basically f*cked the wheels alignment and it's pushed in slightly because I must have hit the gutter going over the median strip and now the car's not driveable over 50km/h max.. I'm so pissed off at myself... I know I have to get the wheel's alignment fixed.. I just hope I don't have to get a new drive axle.. or rear axle.. Has this happened to anyone?.. Thought I might just ask people that know about cars and skylines in particular.. will post some pix..

Both our 33 and 34's are daily drivers.. 34 is used more because it's our family car and more fuel economic than the 33.. has four doors too.. both are over 100, 000kms Looking for a 31 or anything that is fuel economic... petrol prices seem to be going up everyday..
