Hey Sounds like a similar problem I had not too long ago.. at first we changed the sparkplugs.. bought iridium sparkplugs.. but it was still misfiring... Then changed coils also to splitfires.. still misfiring.. kind of like a murmur in the engine.. Then had another mate look at it.. it turned out to be coolant.. it had spilled on one of the coils because when we put the splitfires in we took the cover off (a mate said that was ok).. but we should have kept the cover on for that reason.. so yeah just cleaned the coil with a paper towel and put it back in.. after that.. my car was sweet! Hope that helps

I live in Mt Annan Sydney.. There's a Shell down the road about 5mins away.. Always out of V-power and sometimes unleaded .. sh*ts me to tears.. Then there's BP (10mins away).. sometimes get BP Ultimate.. if I'm lucky.. and finally Caltex.. mmm I'd rather not go there.. It's a real sh*t fight trying to get decent petrol.. where I live anyways..

Hey ducki Sorry to hear... if it's a blown head gasket I'd advise you not to drive it... you could do some real damage to the engine... I had a blown head gasket in my old shitbox of a car.. mate put some liquid and told me to drive it to the shops and back just to run this liquid through the radiator.. about 10mins away from home smoke and liquid starts pissing out... made it home but yeh.. not good.. Hope it gets fixed!

Ignition coils misfiring maybe??? or burnt out sparkplugs??? I had a similar problem.. but then again I've got a GT .. there's a lot more going on in your engine bay than mine.. Hope you figure it out

Oooo I think this is a bit of a touchy subject.. I've got 4 doors because I have kids (2 boys and a baby girl)... it's a bitch having a coupe when you've got kids.. not like I can send them back where they came from. I have a giant carbon fibre shopping trolley wing.. was on the car when I bought it.. but I don't mind it. Everyone is different.. and I like to be different.. I don't want my R34 to be the same as every other R34.. Besides.. it's easy to find in the car park..

Hahaha yes I know I know... my fiance's blokey as so you'd think I'd have picked it up... Yeh looking to change the number plates too.. just haven't got around to it.. 3 kids under the age of 5.. it ain't easy. But first thing's first - I want to respray the car then I'll look at changing the plates.. it'll be a while You see for me it's like bunk bed and clothes for the kids or respray the car and other mods for me... I'm a mother first car enthusiast second.. *sigh*

alloo, Had it for just over a year now.. but it was bought on ebay, wing and all.. so i'm not sure where he got the wing from. It's NA tiptronic. Thanks for your thoughts.. I agree about the wing, I think it gives it some character... I know some people hate it but each to their own!

oooo dunno.. find out if you're actually suspended... if you're caught driving suspended you'll probably lose your license, they may take you to court, not to mention huge fines.. I'd rather spend that money on mods for my car...

Plus 12 months as a probationer (on the job training) and every year after you have to pass a physical and you must pass your shoot (must hit 30 of 36 targets in a set time - as I recall) and tactical training - where they put you in a situation involving firearms and other weapons. People here talk the talk but can they walk the walk... Doubt it!
