Not all cops are tops, but not all cops are tossers either. Stop with the cop bashing, I know some like to defect but it's the law. And to those that say cops are lazy and don't do f**k all. If only you knew the amount of work they do. Try working for a legal system that hands out legal aid to Sh*t bags that steal cars like ours and get away with it. Reason - the legal system is designed in such a way that it works against cops. If you don't like the cops here, go f**k off to America, they'd try getting you for the most trivial sh*t. I hate when people talk about sh*t they know nothing about.

NSW - Illegal unless you have engineers cert. Most of the time cops don't know what a pod filter is. To be safe get an enclosure. But watch out for Highway, they're usually a different breed to GD cops.

Hey I'm a p-plater, still on my reds and I don't drive like a hoon. I love driving my car and I want to keep my car so I'm not about to drive like a moron. Sure there are p-platers out there that ruin it for the rest of us but anyone with a full license can be just as bad. I see fully licensed drivers with extremely bad driving skills. A lot of them don't do basic things like indicating, trouble negotiating round abouts and three point turns. I have kids and I see them speeding in car parks as I'm crossing with my children. I am so tired of narrow-mindedness and people who make assumptions and uneducated opinions. I thought in this day and age people would be more open. It's a real shame. People with piss poor attitudes.

Howdy, Yes and you can imagine the looks I get. Esp. from the youngens in their tricked up lancers and what not. I'm 23 and asian so that doesn't help because they think I'm some ditz in an R34 who just turned 18. But yeah I'm easing my way into the car scene. Wasn't really into the whole business until I got one, now I just want to do all these things. but I know I need to slow down and research. I think first thing's first, timing belt and water pump need to be changed because I've reached just over 100k in kms and have recently changed ignition coils to splitfire coils. Fiance (he owns an R33GTST) told me when you change the coils its best to change the timing belt and water pump as well. What are your thoughts on that? I want to respray the body Burple (Blue/purple) . Still researching on how I should go about it. Any ideas? Not sure which cam gears are actually in there so I should find that out before I do anything. Thanks for your advice Mark, hope we can talk more =) Cheers, Anna

Hi all, I own an R34 NA GT sedan (got 3 kids). Great car, I love the sound as I pull out of the drive way - just as I accelerate I can feel the power kick in. Used to own a '96 Toyota Camry mind you. Looking to put an air pod filter in, new panel filter, bigger cam gears and get a new paint job. also need to change the water pump and timing belt. atm it's gunmetal grey. Stock except for the rims. Can't wait - need to save $$$. Looking forward to learning more and meeting some interesting characters. Cheers, Anna

Yeah, watch out for any dodgey mechanics. Ex bf's van was broken into, expensive shit was stolen. He knows a guy (mechanic) involved in this shameful business of rebirthing and stealing parts. I think he's from Campsie area. Name is Asif or Aziz. Watch out, he's dodgey as they come. I think he's the one that broke into ex's van. Ex was naiive dumb ass. Maybe you should look at anyone trying to sell RB26dett engines.. probably long gone now. But goodluck anyways.

Hi Kevin, My heart goes out to you. I'm new to the Skyline family. I'm fortunate that my fiance gave me his R34 NA GT. He has an R33GTST of course. I'm always out. Always making sure that my car is locked up with club lock and all. It has an immobiliser which I am thankful for. Anyway the reason I'm writing here is that my ex bf (f**ker) knows this bloke who's in this car stealing business for rebirthing and stripping it for parts. When we were together he'd only just met this bloke and I told him to be careful coz this guy could just be getting close to him to steal from him. He had his own business at the time and a few weeks after meeting this bloke his van got broken into and his $600 and $900 ladders got stolen along with set top boxes ($200 each) and his $600 drill (which he hid well, but not well enough).. and I told him that whoever stole his s**t must know him and know where he kept these things. He was so naiive. Maybe you should look at someone closer to home. Maybe someone you'd recently met around the time you bought the car. Goodluck to you
