This car was built by the guy I bought it off, I believe he was building it up as a Targa class circuit car but was forced to sell it to pay for other things. He built the car from a stock GXE into what it is now so all parts are about 2000km old. Since I bought it it has been sitting down the back of my house and gets taken for a short drive about once a fortnight to keep everything fresh. I was hoping to race it but I dont have the required finances to run a dedicated race car! It has done about 25 laps of Baskerville over a couple of sessions and did not miss a beat – was very quick and fun to drive. Did a 1:05 but the limiting factor was the driver, not the car! With an experienced driver and race tyres it would be much faster! The car is on the border between being a dedicated race car and a fast street car – only needs a cage and some r- compound tyres to race or you could leave it as is for a quick streeter, registered in TAS until december. Would be ideal for a drift car except that I dont like drifting! Paint is faded on roof and boot lid but ok elsewhere.
Price: $8000 ono
Location: Hobart, TAS
Feel free to call with any reasonable offer as I am looking to move it however as you can see from the parts list, to build and setup a car like this would cost a hell of a lot more than the asking price!
Call or text me anytime on 0409 015 137, please leave voice message if I dont answer and I'll get right back to you. (dont check forum much so phone is better)
Willing to help arrange mainland transport, I believe shipping to Sydney is about $800 ish through Toll, prob cheaper to Vic.
MAY consider trade + cash adjustment on clean R33 GTST
Note: I have the high beam lights and front grille (not shown in pics); they are removed only to aid in cooling. I also have the battery cover.
