  1. Nissan is a good start Either way unless you're changing the belts yourself, sometimes its better to just let your mechanic buy the belts for you (assuming he is an honest bloke!). They get trade discounts, and if they buy the wrong ones it is their own problem.
  2. young kids have a lot of trouble looking out the windows in the back seat of a coupe.
  3. Something similar happened to a mate. The offender admitted fault and said he will pay for it. Later on the offender actually made a claim against my friend and said it was her fault (because the damage was on the front of my friends car, and at the back of the offenders). Long story short my friend didnt get any money out of him.
  4. Rianto are you the rep in victoria? If so then you can book me in to be the first customer.
  5. My guess is that part of the $199 is going towards a persons effort involved in installing the software. e.g., they are not just going to send you a dvd. this is purely a guess and would make sense as its the only way to stop piracy. I would wait for more details on the solution before dissing the price.
  6. Should be very easy mate i think they're the same as the 350z? and a few other cars too. Anyway, if you dont need them today then maybe try these guys, i got a front + rear set of AR1M off them a few weeks back. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Qf...87#entry4925587
  7. Went to a skidpan session yesterday at the vicpolice driver training complex in Attwood. The day is run by driver dynamics, $130 for four hours shared with 6 cars. I cannot recommend it enough, besides learning something it is this [--------------------------------------------------------] much fun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ed-HPE7yiZM Did i say it was fun yet?
  8. Just ask them nicely and see what they say. Verbal contract should be good enough not that it should have to that sort of stuff. Who is the dealer?.... do they happen to advertise lots of cars on carsales as a private seller?
  9. In all my previous cars i could never ever notice a difference between shell, mobil and bp. I used to think that those people who had a preference were simply crazy. However, I have to say that my V35 feels as though it does not like shell v-power. I have swapped between the two several times and BP consistently feels better. I dont often get to a mobil station but the times that i have it has felt the same as BP.
  10. Thank you for the continued effort Andy.
  11. Thanks blokes for the comments re ECU flash. I already have the IMPUL ecu meaning that the limiters are gone. I was hoping to find somebody who may be able to tune the thing, i suspect it would be the same as reflashing the standard ECU but im not going to bother if it requires a new EPROM chip. I guess the VQ tuning community does not have enough IT nerds.
  12. Mate, i'm going through exactly the same thing. Funnily enough we both own very similar cars and what i'm looking for is an R32 GTR. Ideally I would like to keep the V35 as a daily, but dont know if its gonna happen. $35 would be a fair deal IMO. It would probably hurt for you to accept any less.. Offtopic - but do you have more info on the ECU reflash please? Would you happen to know what software they used and if it requires any hardware modfiications to the ECU? Or is it just a straight OBD2 connection like the evo and wrx? Cheers and good luck.
  13. So the last 30% of your throttle does nothing now?
  14. Am i the only one who thinks this is actually a negative thing? Why would you want less resolution from zero to WOT? other than the pshycological effect of the car FEELING like it has more grunt?
  15. Folks. Has anyone here fitted a fire extinguisher to their V35 as per CAMS regulations? If so, some pictures would be appreciated, please. Just after some ideas on how to tackle this. Cheers
  16. Count me in as interested.. Chances are that I could be too hung over to make it at 10am!
  17. Dont do it. Its not worth the fine if you get caught and prosecuted. Install some better flowing cats if you really think they are a restriction. In any case I would be surprised if anyone here claims to feel a power increase after removing their cats. Why dont you just remove some dead weight (spare wheel, etc), its free and probably gonna have a better effect.
  18. I think you mean T1S, instead of TS1? If so, they look perfect on the V35 (pending correct offset and ride height of course!)
  19. White is the new black. I can tell you that if you want premium + 6 speed, white is no cheaper than black.
  20. You have PM re: 245/45 R18 Semi Slicks. Very keen. Thanks.
  21. 53XYN, I look forward to it. I've been toying with the idea of an all-motor build. Do you mind if I ask which workshop built your motor?
  22. Yeah. Work this one out. From memory, the yanks get the commodore ss (pontiac G8) for a bit less than we do.
  23. If you have the VIN you can pump it into here: http://raws.dotars.gov.au/rawswebpublic/RAWPubVehSearch.asp Otherwise just look at the compliance plate on the vehicle.
