  1. I spent some time in the states recently and took notice of what they pay for cars.. A good example is the 370z, in australia we pay over $70,000 but in the states they have a recommended price tag of only $29,000. They pay about $27,000 for an RX8.
  2. They are saying it will have a price tag of $25,000 USD. This equates to roughly $60,000 once it hits the showrooms in australia. On paper it looks like more of a competitor against the RX8. I would have been more excited if it had a toyota motor...
  3. Bump. I forgot to mention that I'm located in Melbourne. I will post the clutch/ lightweight flywheel kit anywhere in austraila and im happy to pay the postage cost. Wheels are pick up only. More pictures available via email to anyone interested.
  4. slightly off topic but is my car one of the ones with the traffic radio/avoidance or whatever? i know it has a button that looks like a wifi symbol. it tries to tune into an AM radio station when i press it (while the tv is on).
  5. PM replied. I should mention that the price on the wheels is not negotiable. Cheers
  6. Not sure if they are the same offsets as the 350z wheels. But these are better looking They are 18x8 +30 all round. 225/45/18 front, 245/45/18 rear
  7. Folks. I've got the following available if anyone is interested: Set of standard V35 wheels - $1,000 They are the oh so nice 18"s. Tyres are some dodgy brand (nexen??) but virtually brand new, I would estimate 90%+ tread. pics coming soon but this is them: ORC (Ogura Racing) 409 series lightweight flywheel and clutch combo to suit 350z or V35 - $1,200. This is brand new still in box. Part number ORC-409DB-06N.
  8. Im another who has used carizma several times (for compliance). They get my tick of approval.
  9. Gentlemen. I've got the following available if anyone is interested: Set of standard V35 wheels - $1,000 They are the oh so nice 18"s. Tyres are new, I would estimate 90%+ tread. pics coming soon. ORC (Ogura Racing) 409 series lightweight flywheel and clutch combo - $1,200. This is brand new still in box. I'm not sure of current prices but the retail was $1,680 when i grabbed it a few months back. Part number ORC-409DB-06N. Pic: http://users.tpg.com.au/xscape23//DSC00913.JPG If you take both items i will accept $2,000.
  10. The USA ones are not suitable. The light will point towards incoming traffic.
  11. Rianto, it is amazing. We must take the same route to work and at the same time but i still havent spotted you. I do see 2 other silver V35s regularly tho. Both have licence plates starting with X. I suspect they are the ones you're seeing?
  12. The question is not very clear. Do you mean the two buttons on the fuel leaf screen? or what the figures mean? Either way. - the top number is your average fuel usage (displayed in KM per litre). Push the button next to it to reset. - the bottom figure is remaining KMs until you run out of petrol. push the button at the bottom to display a graph showing the history of your fuel usage. a new bar is inserted (on the right hand side) each time you reset the average fuel useage.
  13. Even with the standard wheels on, mine reads 108km/ph when doing 100...
  14. Anyone tried the ORC clutch + lightweight fly yet? If so, what are your impressions? I purchased the same kit a while ago but havent bothered installing it... a bit worried given the negative comments floating around regarding other brands.
  15. Thanks mate. In person, the 2006 headlights look a lot better than the 2003 ones. I've had lots of comments about the car looking more modern with them. But anyway, the main point of them is for the projector lenses so that you can use HIDs properly.. you can always do a retrofit like 350gtfrank
  16. They were on the car when i bought it.
  17. 06 headlights have projector lenses for the main beam. They are slightly rearranged, the vertical strip doesnt light up. Pictures of my car: 2003 lights - 2006 lights - Very nice upgrade but they are NOT cheap. Expect about $1,000. Tail lights on the 06 model are, well, not flat. Check out this one on carsales. http://www.carsales.com.au/Tig/UI/PagePopu...mp;tabID=304744
  18. Hey mate. I have the fujita intake, with a pod filter. I tried to take a sound clip but it was not that great. The car isnt loud under every day driving conditions. But yes the noise changes completely once you put your foot down. It is an awesome note, you will be happy with it, if you like tough sounding cars. I hate to admit it but it sounds a bit like a honda on VTEC.
  19. Welcome. Well done on avoiding the dodgy example. Let me guess - it was in Sydney?
  20. Call me anti-social but I havent ever bothered with the V35 salute. Perhaps because I am yet to see a female driving one MILLOS - I also do the bike nod but since im only on a 250 my nodding partners are restricted. The guys on bigger bikes dont to noobs, and there is no way i want to be seen nodding to a scooter... unless the rider is wearing a skirt.
  21. Agreed. I dont know what the facination is with the "z tube". May as well just grab a proper aftermarket item, or leave the stock one there...
