    Yep im also running nankangs. They came on the car when i got it. The rears are 275/30/20. Grip is worse than expected, too easy to spin the tyres in the wet. They are noisy as hell too. Cant wait to get rid of them.

    I dont have any experience using them in the VQ35. However, i've had a set in a 2JZGTE and a 4G63. IMO they are a waste of money. Im happy paying $4 for regular copper plugs, and changing them every 5,000 - 10,000kms. To be honest my evo felt like it went better after putting in fresh coppers (and taking out the old iridiums that were in there).

    By the way, if anyone ever has the same problem, yes its the immobiliser. Trick is to disarm the aftermarket one, then lock and unlock using the key. It will then start.

    Have you got the new fuel pump yet? Last time i replaced one was on an evo. The new pump (walbro) actually came with a new one of those white sock filter things... That is not the fuel filter as such.. there is usually another one somewhere in the car.

    Thanks. They are nankangs, 275/30/20. Grip is awful, and they are noisy as hell. Gets sideways with little effort. Next purchase is to replace them with something half decent.

    I dont think there is anything special about the JWT. I really wanted the nismo, but the fujita was next choice as i like how the intake tube is metal (aliminium?) and looks almost factory as its painted similar to the plastic engine cover. Note i removed the fujita sticker. Pics: p.s. yes the intake noise is awesome. i dont think it will be too different to any other intake with an open filter.

    Yep, 20s.. part of me wishes they were 19. I will try to take some nice photos tomorrow, after i attempt to install this fujitsubo exhaust i've got lying around.
