You would be throwing several thousand dollars away and getting a car that the dealer chose in japan, not YOU!. And if you dont get it - talk to a broker (iron chef, prestigemotorsport, j-spec, etc) and they will explain it im sure

    Exactly what I was thinking. That method doesnt make sense at all. There will be a torrent of both cds available... simple The only thing they can do to protect themselves is do one massive groupbuy... which im sure we can make happen, if only they agree.

    Shouldnt be too much but as with all body work things you will get very different quotes depending where you go.. also big money doesnt always mean a good job. I dont know how many achor points the standard spoiler has but about $300 should cover it.

    Somebody mentioned to me that you're not allowed to put cargo inside of the car. Having said that, I imported an aristo several years ago now. It was meant to have a few things in the boot but they all disappeared... dont know if it was on the docks or before the car got to the boat.

    If it is the same one that I'm thinking of, then please be careful. On another forum i frequent (evolutionoz) there is a massive thread warning about them. They go by various names.. eddie, jimmy, kevin, cong, the list goes on. They advertise as if they are a private seller "going overseas", "having a baby", but its all crap. Some people have bought terrible cars from them.

    Any idea how much cash they're after to make it viable? Instead of all this stuffing around, another idea is a large enough group buy that they dont need to worry about piracy because they'll have the money in the pocket already.

    Cheers mate. Anything that needs to be changed for compliance will be changed. Swapping wheels for a couple days is worth it, dont you think? 20" works are not cheap by any stretch of the imagination

    Thanks. I'm quite pleased with it, not that its here yet. Im not sure about the door handles or the grill. They're both chrome. Not really my thing... but easily fixed. A couple more interesting things....
