Thanks mate. Yes, I do like black, but not sure how it will look on my car. Once i get my hands on a standard grill, i intend to have a play with my chrome one. Here it is, in all its uglyness. You'll see its a bit different to a standard one, they chromed the whole bloody thing, and its starting to suffer from rock chips.

I imported an SW20 mr2 in feb 2006. It would have been one of the last ones to come into the country. It was done under the old 15 year rule, after it was abolished, thanks to a bloke who had stocked up on a heap of vehicles knowing that the rules were soon to change. Anyhow, despite a good report from the agent, it turned out to be pretty rough. Even if importing was still an option for these cars, i wouldnt recommend it. The costs are likely to be about the same as buying locally. They are an old car now. The ability to test drive one, and have it properly checked out, is godsend.

Yes, my car has brembos and they clear it fine. The size is 18x8 +30 i think. I can't be bothered getting the tyres removed, sorry, but just make an offer and i might accept. Consider the tyres a free bonus.

I'm under instructions to clear out the shed. 1. A set of four 18" wheels from a V35 skyline, wrapped in 245/40/18 Falken RSV-04 semi slicks. The wheels have been painted black (by me, using cans, so not the best job in the world). Two of the semis have bucket loads of tread left, while the other two are heavily scrubbed on the edges and therefore probably no good. $ taking offers, but ball park $750. 2. A set of four 18" wheels from a 350z track model, wrapped in RE55s semi slicks (SR2 compound). 225 front, 245 rear. These wheels have also been painted black. One of the fronts is buckled, not sure if its repairable. Semis are down to the indicators, but they still grip very well once heated up. $ taking offers, but ball park $500. 3. A set of four Dunlop D02G semi slicks in 245/40/18. Two or three track days left in them. $ offers. All items are pick up only, from western suburbs of Melbourne (Sunshine). RWKW = Rear Wheel Kilowatts The figure of 215ps is "at the motor". When reading power figures on a dyno, the output is substantially lower, due to drivetrain loss (google it). 215ps = approx 160kw. You would expect this to be something like 120 RWKW, but its impossible to say without putting the car on a dyno.

Folks, I'm looking to sell my GoPro motorsport hero HD camera. Only used about 5 times. Comes with the waterproof case, suction mounting kit, and everything else thats meant to be in the box. $350 ono including postage. I'm also throwing in a 12gb SD card. Folks I have for sale a Tomei 2 way LSD. Comes as a complete assembly including diff housing (pumpkin), making for an easier install. Unknown kms, as I purchased it second hand. $650 pick up ono. Note: - Its still installed on my car, but will be removed within a couple of weeks. - It is pretty tight, good for drift and/or circuit - As with most clutch-type LSDs, it makes a fair bit of banging and clunking noises during low speed cornering (e.g., parking, reversing out of driveways, etc). - Pick up very much preferred, as the unit is about 55kg in total.

Chris, I understand what you mean, and I agree with it, but yeah.. I'm talking about things like $1500 cats, fluid changes (which i would rather do myself), pad changes (unneccissary), etc.. I take cars to compliance for the purple sticker and the purple sticker only.
