  1. Import myself. Had 60,000 kms, now 80,000. Put it through 3 track days, a skidpan day and a beginners drift day so far.. Its holding up well
  2. I have an 03 manual. Had it for almost a year so far. Not a single problem (yet).
  3. I could be wrong but i didnt think that the "RevUp" motor was available on the JDM V35?
  4. Definitely stickers off. Leave the bucketseats in ,but offer a standard set of seats to any potential buyers.
  5. They were on the car when I bought it so I don't know precisely how many kms are on them. If I had to take a guess I would say 20,000 - 30,000. Pictures coming later today.
  6. Thanks, but i'm not so keen on the federals. Sorry I should have mentioned it. Ideally after RE55s, A050, R888, etc.
  7. Folks If anyone has some used or cheap semi slicks that are still good for at least 2 - 3 track days then please shoot me an offer. Preferably similar to 245/40/18. But i'll also consider something in 17" if they are still attached to wheels that you will also sell to me. Located in melb. Thanks Brad.
  8. Picked up a set of coilovers so my current suspension setup is for sale. It consists of nismo s-tune struts, but the springs have been swapped for RSR branded ones. I do love this setup as a daily drive but wanted something a little firmer and adjustable for track advendures. A picture showing the ride height is below. I'm yanking them off the car tomorrow and will throw up a couple more photos then. Price = $600 pick up. Will post at buyers expense. If you think this is an unreasonable price then please shoot me an offer.
  9. You'll have to ring them to find out. I booked about a week ago. Afternoon session was full but some spots were available for the morning. $50 deposit with the rest payable on the day. I've actually done it before and its a crap load of fun. Couldnt help myself but to register again. You learn a fair bit. They have water constantly flowing at a few points around the skidpan, along with some really slippery stuff (not sure if its oil/soap/whatever) at two opposite ends.
  10. Yep, it sure does. My nismo speedo was showing 230km/ph down the front straight at phillip island, but its a bit out of whack so real life speed was closer to 210. Rev limit is something like 7000rpm. I'm pretty sure that if you got an e-manage or haltech that you would still keep the IMPUL unit in place. I haven't had my car tuned so I can't comment on what results to expect.. But I would be surprised to see anything more than 10kw extra peak power.

  12. Expanding on my comment above - you may not realise that while a haltech or e-manage will set you back maybe over $1k now... each retune in the future will cost you A LOT less, perhaps only a few hundred bucks. Where as with the IMPUL you'll be paying $1k each time you want a remap.
  13. I have the same IMPUL ecu in my car. I personally wouldnt bother with a retune. Think of it this way - if there is only once place in SYD who would do it, then you will basically be stuck with them forever. If you grab something like an e-manage, haltech, or other generic piggy back solution, you'll be able to get it tuned basically anywhere. Important if you ever do any more mods in the future.
  14. Hey. Sorry to hear. I did some googling. He also goes by the tags of TYGER and PP_082. This is his ebay account.. it might lead you somewhere, you could get his home/postal address pretty easily. http://myworld.ebay.com.my/pp_082/
  15. I can assure you that the Fujita kit isnt low enough to suck up water. Unless the puddle is up to your headlights, in which case you're probably stuffed anyway. I'm personally not a fan of the nissan Z tube + JWT combo, but I confess that I havent actually tried it. My main reason is that it still has the "corrigated" (for lack of a better word) section. I'm no engineer but I would have thought a smoother tract to be better... In any case, I am doubtful of anyone who says that they can feel a power gain with either one. I lean more towards the airbox = better performance. All of that aside, the noise is the only reason why you would bother with it. I love the noise therefore you may call me a ricer if you like
  16. I have the same one, but in black. Love it. Looks almost factory in this colour.
  17. Shit, these would suit a V35 to a tee. The materials look similar to the premium edition interior. Must... resist.....
  18. The factory v-LSD on the manuals is pretty poor anyway.. might as well be an open wheeler.
  19. I would say try to test drive one of each and make your mind up from there. Personally I would go for the 350gt without even looking at the other two, but thats just me =D
  20. I actually LOL'd at that question.
  21. ha ha, i thought my description was pretty good! guess a picture tells a thousand words...
  22. Yep. Its on the back of the motor, kind of. Its on a shiny metal plate looking thing. My advice is to stand at the drivers door and look for it that way.
  23. Cool. I agree with the instant 2000 rpm thing, very wierd. You are right, it does take a few more revs to get going off the line. After some more driving yesterday i can confirm that it has made a noticeable difference to accelleration in at least first and second gears.
  24. Thank you to the photographer
