.it happened 3 times after the timing belt changed.if i put my hand on the timingbelt cover i can feel that ticking every time it happened.it only happened when i dont drive it for some days.then the ticking comes whenever idle or maybe while driving(i dont konw, cant hear). if i drive it everyday,this never happen,what ever i start her up a cold morning or drive it in a hot day.but last night it happend all of a sudden,i start it as normal,but the car shake badly and the engine sound like 70's american musle car for the firt few seconds,and goes smooth but with the ticking noise,so i let it idle for a while untill the water temp comes up then i drive it to a car wash about 5 kms away,found the ticking has gone.car is a 96 r33 gtst. but i am still worry it,what it could be, i want to fix it asap b4 a big mess

mines done by gcr,no certificate etc.but i have printed those papers and they had filled it.

just got my mongoose m80g installed today,but i dont have any thing like proof of puchase or installation certificate.just curious is this normal or should i ask for one.

all done,send my car to mr tinting today,remove and retint $275.all work done in 3 hours,nothing been remove.but its just too smell of the Windex,cant open window for 2days.when i drive car back home,it was like suffocated to death,but guys did a good job

those guys charge me $100 to remove the old tint,all of them have a lifetime warranty.solaris $300 carbon $300 sonic $350. when you guys tint your lines,did you remove the rear speaker cover,coz they ask me to remove it myself to save the labour.

ive been quote around $300 ,cheapest on is $250.including peel the old films off.how much do you guys spend,and where u guys go tint ur skylines?(im in the north of melbourne).is there any reputable shops. some said $150 can get the job done,but ive been quote $300,been raped?

timing belt just been changed 3 weeks ago,found a sequential knocking noise from inside of the cam cover tuesday,but after that cant hear any.apart from that my car hum badly @1500rpm.and idea?

mine was fixed $150,replaced two rubber seals

but it will come up when car warm at low speed,1600rpm@60km/h,if not it will reach low2000rpm@60km/h

dont konw it is 4sp or 5sp,but i definitely can feel that final shift,or can see from the rpm instrument(4th 2800@100km/h 5th 2600@100km/h <or called factory extra>). i think the way to find out how many speed of the gearbox is count the how many times it shift.which is means 4 shifts u got 5 gears or what ever the factory extra,am i right?

it will only shift into 5th after car(or maybe gearbox) warm up,like start the car warm up2-3 mins,diver to a freeway,i can clearly see,the rev stay under 3000rpm@100km/h. but after travel 10km stationary speed,can feel it sfit 5th,and rev drop back to 2600@rpm@100km/h . is that still normal?

so do you guys think oil would be the only problem. i have checked the gearbox oil level,still ok,the colour is like light red.

there is something wrong with my gearbox. every time i drive my car for the first 10km or b4 fully warm up,it doesnt shift to the 5th. my one is a gtst SII auto.i dont konw too much things about cars,any ideas?
