Im going to be running more boost soon and going front facing plenum with a front mount intercooler. Stock isnt up to that. I dont see why i should have to explain myself im just asking if anyone has one and if they like it! ffs

I Just asking if anyone here has one. Its the sound of my car and im going to hear it almost everytime i shift gears. Every day. dont want something that sounds like sh!t as some of them do. Just wanting someones opinion on it. I no its not a big deal but it would be nice to have a bit of confidence before forking out $550

no no the car came with a cheap knock off bov on it styled like the hks when i bought it. no stock recirc valve Not dissing the sound of the hks cos i like it just not really my taste for everyday low boost driving. Plus my mechanic says itll be leaking. . I want a bov and wondering if anyone here has the Tial Q on there car. The old Tial 50mm has good reviews but cant find any on the new Tial Q. Anyone? Thanks

I bought my new r33 a couple of weeks ago and its got a cheap hks style bov on it. Im not a fan of the sound when driving normally, sounds like i got a bunch of birds under my bonnet lol. But yeah my mechanic says itl be leaking like crazy and told me to get a decent bov. ive been looking around an ive been quoted $550 for a Tial Q bov including installation. Is this a good price? and more importantly is the Tial Q any good? cant seem to find much on it but theres alot of vids of the old 50mm Tial. anyone here have a tial Q on there car?

I didn't mean an actual 100% its just a figure of speech. And i didn't say anything about a bigger throttle body just the manifold itself. I'm not a pro on these things so not trying to prove im right or anything but from what ive seen and heard it definitely does improve overall response and its alot smoother, overall torque gains are good too. Really hoping this is the case as im really wanting better response low down on my R33. Looks so much nicer too but yeah its not like your looking at your engine when your driving so i guess thats not for everyone.

Yeah the front intake plenum depending on which one you get does increase rwkw but not by an amazing amount. ( 10 or so kw ) But apparently the response is 100% better!!!! I myself have just bought an r33 and am looking at getting a plazmaman front intake plenum an i think its around $1000 aus? Dyno proven, looks porn and doesn't starve your 6th cylinder like the greddy can.

theres not alot out there for the r34 gtt sadly There is quite a few for the r34 gtr but there flat where as yours are curved so wont work. try rhdjapan.com

I had the same problem in my old r34 so for anyone else that may have this issue. To access the stereo you need to take off the trim around the shifter and unplug the switch and cigarette lighter. I forgot to plug it back in when i put the trim back on and i couldn't figure it out. Might be the same for new owners if the previous owner didn't plug it back in. or might have just fell out. Ugh wish i didn't sell her. Cant wait to get a GTR one day

I dnt think their ugly. makes the car look more equiped. better I cant understand why so many new cars dont have them, it should be illegal not to have them cos u NEED to see out your back window at all times. specially if theres a cop behind you and you feel like overtaking that nana infront of you

if your car came factory with airbags then you need an airbag boss kit. it stops the airbag light from going off. and maybe screwing with the computer even? im not sure on that one but yea u need air bag boos kit either way dude

yeah i know it really needs to be lowerd. im worried about it sitting in my driveway when its raining. as the vents are huge! its almost like not having a bonnet on.

ok so i got my bonnet off. ben ages i know but ive ben waiting for the hinges! and i cant seem to get the old hinges off. like theres not enough space so do i need to take the front guards off to get to them or do i just not have the right tools? i really dont want to pay someone to do something soo simple. anyway heres a loose fit pic oh and im really worried about water getting into the engine. should i be? the vents are really big like i can fully see my engine through them. is water really an issue cos ive got the neo cover still on there.

ive heard that the r33 gearbox can hold up to 200rwkw just fine. dnt no about the r34 tho. im really happy with my gtt even if im finding it a bit underpowered. but thats all the fun of modding although i totally agree that if you can afford an r34 gtr DO IT!!! if i had the money i would hav in a heart beat

i cant speak for all tiptronic gtt's but i have one and i really like it. not too slow either. all ive done chuck an r32 turbo actuator, removed converter, apexi pod and ive timed it at 0-100 in 5.8. cant wait to get turbo back exhaust and fmic and tune. woohoo just do it mate. great for cruizing too in saying that i want to do a manual conversion one day so if you can easily afford the manual then do that bro. manual for street/track racing tiptronic for cruizing/street

so im guessing you had to modify the front bumper to fit the slimmer guards of the gtt? is this easy to do?

hey did you get the ts style bumper and modify the top of it so it looks like GTR? if you did you got any pics? im thinking of going this route

yeah its GTR. i think it looks sooo much better how the bonnet rises up whereas the gtt is sorta flat

i always wanted to keep it clean paint wise all the same color but i reckon this is friggen hot. whataya think? not bad for a $150 cell phone pic
