Comments / Modifications:
As the title suggests I have my RB25DET powered Datsun 260Z up for sale. I have had the car for around 7 years but it has only been on the road for the last 2 years. The conversion is professionally done and all modifications have been engineer certified. I have all the relevant Licensing Department permits for road use so there is no problem getting insurance from places like Shannons. The car was built up as a labour of love, combining the classic old school looks of the Z car with the performance, reliability and smoothness of a modern powerplant. The car is currently running 300rwhp on a conservative 14psi boost setting which in a car that weighs 1100kg is mighty fast indeed. The car is also the reigning "People's Choice" award winner at the annual WA 240Z and 260Z Register Z Car Day.
Ok, so what has been done to the car?
Engine Bay/Drivetrain:
RB25DET motor
NEW HKS GT-RS ball bearing turbo installation (about 1000kms old)
GReddy Intake Plenum
Full 3 inch stainless steel exhaust system
550cc injectors
Wolf 3D computer
Per4manz Intercooler with aluminum piping
Skyline Aluminium radiator
RB20DET gearbox
R200 limited slip diff – 4.375:1 ratio
Wolf Racing CV driveshaft conversion (no broken drive shafts!!!)
Brakes/Wheels/Suspension:
4 piston Toyota Landcruiser front calipers on vented and slotted rotors (front)
Stewart Wilkins Racing rear disc conversion with slotted rotors
16x7 alloys with new Toyo R888 motorsport tyres
Koni adjustable dampers, sports springs and sway bars
Exterior:
The exterior is basically as Datsun intended, with the only changes being the addition of the front spoiler, debadging the car and smoothing the bumpers. There is NO rust on the car. It was painted 7 years ago and has been in storage or garaged ever since. It only comes out of the garage on sunny weekends.
Interior:
Again, as Datsun intended except for lightweight race buckets (6kg), Nardi Classico steering wheel, and a boost gauge where the (non-functional) clock used to live.
Please feel free to ring me if you have any questions about the car. I will entertain serious offers on the car but please, no time wasters. I may also be interested in a swap/part exchange if you have an E36 BMW M3 or an HR31 Skyline GTS-R.
Cheers
