You have a red square, and blue circles.. i am going to assume the red square (not circle) is the head of the bolt/threaded bar and the blue circles are where they snapped.. what is on the other side of the threaded bar, or did you screw the threaded bar in? if so i would look at drilling a hole in the middle of the threaded bar and using a screw extractor kit to get it out and replace it.. is that what you are looking to do? pics are pretty bad..

By the sounds of it.. You don't need a front mount anyway.. Front mount shouldnt cause a problem i would have thought.. Also post pics of your BOV.. it sounds stock to me.. If they are constantly pulling you over.. I would be looking at changing your plates.. Previous owner was prob on the wrong side of the law.. If it continues.. I would start writing down a log of occurances.. Even record it.. Name, Badge, Car ID.. Time, Reason given.. If it's the same officers then it shows a pattern.. Make it 100% stock and if they are excessive then I would go to the CMC.. But you will prob have a fight on your hands.. They will be on you all the time..

the cover is what looks to be modified.. they are easy to get out/install.. simple screws undo from inside the boot.. unplug wires.. lights are out.. cover should unscrew from the back of the lights..

LOL some R34 models have xenon.. And others don't.. They headlight should have xenon written on it inside the housing.. However on compliance they take them out and replace them with Halogen.. Unless you or a previous aussie owner put HID's in.. then no you don't have HID or Xenon

It just looks like they moded the original housing so souldnt have changed plugs or anything..
