For which state.. And to Melbourne? Only thing i don't like buying from interstate is difference in laws.. May have to end up modifying things to get roadworthy in your state.. I would look at geting a RWC from the buyer regardless anyways.. As if bushes, etc are worn out then i would get the owner to replace before i purchased.. if not at least you should be able to get an indication on how worn out parts are and potential $$$... RWC should also let you know if shit is leaking etc... Then you'll be required to get a RWC in your state also

Yeah as jrm said.. it's probably not the gauge that's broken.. And if you really want to change.. I said the whole dash... So take your whole dash off.. and replace it with the N/A dash..

I personally would not buy bodykits off ebay.. especially when they are cheap... Do it once.. Do it right... For brisbane I would recommend DMD... I don't believe they do paint and fit anymore (will need to confirm).. but their bodykits i have got from them are top notch.. hardly any mods to make it fit.. and didnt have some crazy out of line warping.. Paint and fit should prob be around $400.00 mark i'd say.. Does also depend on how the fitment is.. If they get that bad they require cut and re-glassing then requires more labour...

mods don't mind us having fun.. they just don;t want you guys scaring all the ladies away... making this place into a sausage fest..

Other than tht.. if you really are set on the stand alone look.. i would find a wrecked non turbo and take the dash out of it..

if your using it for street only.. then your 5inch Gauge is homo-spec that's for sure..

i was going to suggest purchasing a new high flow cat.. and on-sell your highflow and dump to someone else.. would be able to re-coup some of the money you spent on the high flow.. and someone would be interested in highflow.. would have obviously lost money, but would have been able to do the work yourself at home.. and prob would have cost ess then what you paid for his services.. You should have made a verbal agreement for use of his time and equipment.. I'm sure there would be legalities of having you in the workshop. Hence not writing down itemised list.. In my workshop, if someone has an accident, etc.. we are in the shit Also saying that is cash price is bullshit to be honest.. I would have told him i'd need to get the cash and not return.. You can pay with whatever option is available..
