  1. Yeah just to point the fact out that you can't mention the business name when you slander them.. but too late lol how ever.. if such a business (with ABN) doesn't supply parts when agreed.. ask for a refund.. if you havent got the parts a refund is a must.. if they deny and you still dont get the parts then report the business to the Office of Fair Trading.. fairly simple and they will look into it.. and if there are multiple customers that are getting trouble then anyone can check the rep of a business (as long as complaints are put in)
  2. I see the R34 as the sports car.. for the less mature pplz and the V35 as the luxury family car.. for the (more) mature wise pplz lol depends on your preference.. either way they both good..
  3. as you figured out by now, your battery isnt hloding charge.. best bet is buy a new one, not expensive.. no piss farting around.. however with certain batteries you can check the water level.. (little caps you can unscrew.. and make sure the water level is right.. but even then i'd still go with the new battery.. best option
  4. those drift gauges look nice.. but yeah not for me... yeah r-spec.. please let me know where you set em up.. and whether they are good during the day.. cheers
  5. no, any fix would be temporary (if any) and would not look the same.. i assume when you say this that it's only one window? if so i would just get it re tinted.. wouldnt break the bank.. only a few hundred to tint whole car (depending on tint type/darkness)
  6. yes bigger rims will have more/frequent rubbing.. you may also require some rubbing.. the amount of rub will also be affected by weight in the car (more ppl) and bumpy roads etc.. it'd be hard to get them not to rub.. also you will most prob get problems on tight turning (at least on full lock) as the tyre will rub on parts inside the wheel cavity.. ps.. 20's look shmick fill in the gap.. however it's also worth noting that it's not legal (apparently so i've been told) that you cannot put tyres on that are 2" above standard ie. 19's is the max on 17's as standard.. *Could be wrong, just what i've been told by roadworthy mechanics*
  7. hey yo yo yeah saber only got 60mm gauges.. but i like the "standard" sorta look too.. yeah they are the three gauges im looking at getting.. not sure about oil temp though.. i got an oil cooler and my temp doesnt move from 70.. uless its not working but i dont know what else to get.. i want a/f, boost, ??? so yeah.. they look the sh!t aye.. nice look.. gotta be happy with that.. might jus dive in the shark pit and hope they go alright.. i was thinking of the 52mm cause if they sit in more then there should be less glare.. however i was wondering what the gauge holder would look like in the cluster.. stop/reduce glare.. thanks for the pics too.. gives an idea..
  8. yeah it IS illegal to setup cameras on a hill.. or should i say it's stated that they shouldnt be setup on a hill.. but when has this ever stopped them from doing something they've been told not to do.. gotta get that revenue.. gov'ment wont do sh!t about it cause they getting the money.. I agreed catch the speeders.. but not sneaky tactics to go to any lengths to do it.. some of the things they do are dangerous.. also they dont always get accurate readings.. well no point arguing or disputing.. they have the final say and us lowly ppl get thrown to the dogs..
  9. +1 Wheels Revolutions.. Great Service, Great Job!!
  10. Hey Guys, Looking at purchasing some Saber "electronic" smoke gauges.. but wondering whether there is any "sun light" issues during the day.. So looking to see if anyone has these installed and what they think of in terms of visibility issues? Or alternatively what are the aftermarket gauges you have (52mm or 60mm) and internet site to look at the style.. Also any problems with said gauges.. cheers ps.. looking at replacing the 3 factory gauges in a r34 GTT.. so they wont be facing directly at me..
  11. yeah that's the place to go.. got universal ones too.. jus cut off excess.. go there for replacement wiper sets too.. jus measure the length of your wiper and buy to suit..
  12. warren you make me laugh... quote yourself and yes warren has confirmed it.. however there is an admin fee of $21.05 for new car rego.. i dont think they waive that fee even if it's your car (i mean dont forget this is the government here.. cliff.. i'm sure you meant in your question they giving you 14days to change to qld plates? (not vic license?).. just follow what warren has given you.. get a qld rwc (as rules on mods, etc are diff in all states) fill in the new car rego form (they dont recognise vic rego.. go down and register the car... while your there hand in your vic number plates.. they give you a receipt for the plates.. then you go on the vicroads website and get a form to mail (with receipt) and they will send you refund on your remaining rego.. Just Car insurance is easy jus update the address and plates.. but ctp is insurance on injuries to related parties.. diff from just car who insure the vehicles.. you get a choice of ctp insurance in qld.. (as the other guys stated) i think it's roughly $340.00 for six months rego (including ctp) done.. although that pretty much what warrren has summed up
  13. yeah purchasing through ebay.. seems the go.. looks good.. $495 set.. front and back.. not too bothered about waiting for a group buy.. yeah im down at moss street a fair bit.. will have to see how it goes.. cheers
  14. hey vish.. i live in windaroo (next to beenleigh).. yeah but would be looking for a quality fit.. not some idiot.. will be gettin some soon i thinks but covering bases jus in case they piss me off lol nice to have a backup place to take them if i cant be bothered
  15. yeah might jus do it down there or something.. gonna go with godzilla motorsport.. seems very well respected on SAU forums.. jus gotta decide what i should do with upgrades.. possibly wait, but i'm impatient too lol.. yeah i know pfc increases performance a good amount.. it needs a good tune though as it's running 'very' rich atm
  16. what about nice story last night about the police officers in the city bashin those two guys and the woman.. they are violent thugs.. so shouldnt we label all police as violent thugs.. i should get my gran to go in a hotted up skyline and ask the councillor if she can park there.. was cruzing down over northside near morayfield stopped at a set of lights.. a copper came through.. mine went green and i started driving (slowly ) and i watched this cop reach speeds of over 110 at least an hr as he (or mayb she) drove away.. this was no lights flashing no emergency or anything.. and the speed limit was 80ks.. should make rewards for dobbing these guys in... out of all the problems they attack "noise disturbance".. i agree though that they should be targeting "hoons" like the ones on the highway doing the line locking.. i been trapped behind them before.. they was hand braking so no one could see their lights.. dangerous as i almost ran up their a$$es.. funny though the truckies dont take the sh!t..
  17. woodridge and kingston are the upper clas areas in the middle of bris & coast lol.. marsden on the rise too.. lol
  18. to re-reg the car is like $21.05 admin fee.. and a road worthy is like $60.00.. thats cheaper then the $88.00 for pits.. but yeah i'd get it looked at.. the road worthy mechanic will just deny that it's a dodgy rwc and claim it was done after he signed a rwc.. so he will be in the clear.. but still could cause probs for you down the track.. and as far as i've been told you are aloud 2 inchs about standard wheel size.. as that is what compliance/aust standards are tested for.. so yeah if stock is 16's then max you can go is 18's.. i knew this mainly cuase i had 19's on my vt and stock is 16's.. and yeah they all said illegal as soon as i told em.. so just be careful onj the rules.. just ring pits or qld transport to confirm.. any mechanic should know as a mechanic was the first to tell me that 19's are illegal on my car being nice and polite is the best way to handle a situation when they hold all the cards.. they have a job to do and arent picking on you.. "if" they "overlook" something then it is on your behalf that they are letting you off..
  19. drinkable air.. well it would help our increased laziness if the air was beer.. then we wouldnt have to got get another beer at all.. breathing would increase though.. showing that we arent lazy enuf to breath :laughing-smiley-014:
  20. lol well shouldnt she be taken away for loitering if she's there.. "arming with a broom stick" god, if i knew she was there i woulda gone and let her hit me.. see what she's got to say about violence.. a bigger problem then hooning.. cops should designate an area for car enthuiasts to go, away from residents if that need be it, and jus fine those who want to break the law with burnouts or what ever... As it's already been shown (computer road, Magnesium Road) that if they shut down one place then another is established or it's taken to the highways and such, increasing risk.. At least in a carpark it is contained and the 5-0 are always outside waiting for those 'idiots' who want to smoke em.. And using the "drugs" routine to explain her actions.. so everyone waits till friday night to sell drugs then.. pull the other one.. drugs are sold everywhere all the time.. even polititians get caught.. why would drugs be sold there when everyone knows the cops are waiting right outside to collect their super.. she just wants to be seen, as the media is all about the anti-hoon atm.. get on the band wagon you old biddy
  21. lol right outside hooters too.. double score lol
  22. would you know where to get them fitted?
  23. Well yeah you could however you would still have to take it to pits.. but all pits will do is give you a notice to fix the defect.. if you was to deregister the car then it is no longer a problem as it's not on the road. You could then take it to get road worthy (if your in the know).. register it as a new vehicle and your back on the road.. I would be calling qld transport about taking it to pits.. see if you de-register the car whether it still has to go.. jus tell them its undrivable atm or something and so thats why ur de-registering it
  24. yeah that's why i just thought better let them do it.. might just look at gettin a new turbo (as it's stock) and new injectors then get pfc and tuning done with upgrade.. just gotta have patience
  25. yeah a new turbo and injectors is next on the list. however like others the money tree out the back hasnt been watered in this drought, and coming to i have a house and another car to pay off too i'd have to save.. mayb it's worth waiting for turbo and injectors before installation.. or would there be any problems if i can swap ecu over to pfc and not tuning? for daily driving i mean? as i mean what can be a problem if i was to folow this path for the time being?
