  5. i thnki i should come allong indeed give me somethng to do for sunday, everyone has gone home for leave, actually that would work out great if you came buy, so where and when is this going down, speed cameras have helped me learn to know where they are if that makes sense
  6. thats a concept i was only told about when i was about to hold hold a few k's over the limit, we dont do that in vic, guess we make up for it with a speed camera ever 500m

  8. well story goes that my turbo was in really bad shape, so im getting scotts on sunday and dropping it off on monday to get put back in, i hoe this sorts out the oil burn, and some of the resultant rich running
  9. well i have only been told that its the blend air actuator, there is a little motor that opens and closers the hot/cold air mix, the teeth are worn so i need a new unit, suposidally there are round the 80 mark, think thats 2nd hand though, i have a series 1.5 r33gts25t, the vin is 6u9000ecr33059526 cheers alex

  12. the other good thing know is we all have fancy amera phones, can i suggest not moving any vehicals and takings lots of happy snaps to get an idea of what happened, then to leave it on voice record, bad that the world has come to this ay.
  13. well as much as i know, premium is the amount that you pay annually to cover your car, the exess is mainly for lovely people like us mate, young drivers, with high performance jap cars, its money that on top of the premium that you would have to pay in an accedent, its a way for insurence companeis to covere the cost, i pay so much as there is 600 dollars under 21 excess, 600 male driver excess and 600 jap car excess is truely crap but such is life. as far as i am aware (please correct me if im wrong) the excess is only chargd if the accent is your fault, ie not charged if the cheap prick who crashes into you cant/wont pay for the damages alex

  16. to cover insurence and rego im putting away 130 a fornight, my insurence is 3500 a year adjusted to 2300 (its a just car thing, but theres a shite load of excess if i claim, but i would claim for anything less then it anyways, want to keep good rating) so year need to keep that in mind, i cant wait for next year im going to negotiate a lower price when i first go the insurence it was another 500 more, when on the phone you really need to be a mixture of firm and nice, and get the person on the phone on your side (like you) do the whole "mate would be able to see if x time driving, or this course etc would get me some cash off" if you play your cards right it will. im going to shannons at some point this year and talk to them and see if i can get on board with them, normally need to be over 25 or 5 years driving, but im hoping the people there will see that i have restricted leave anyways so only use car in mostly non peak hour, and am responsible or that they are an ex service member and wanna help out one of the boys, fingures crossed.
  17. yeah doing all the calculations and what nots great, but now i have started the basics of business at uni, realising i missed a hell of a lot, not to mention calculating fuel lol, zac be sure to come along to the cruises here goods fun they are, that white 34 does look nice,
  18. yeah as hard as it is to say, shanil is right, i wish i had put my cash into shares or something first, now i have all these good contacts to invest with and no money to do it, even just put the cash away until you have your full liscence, hindsight is a wonderful thing, just remember at the end of the day it is your choice and im sure everyone will help either way you go.(yes i know thats not want you to hear, i was in the same position 6 months ago, lol) zac trust me its colder all right, exspecially the drill practice from 7 to 8 this morning, the rain was a nice additive too, lol, why you moving sown mate
  19. cheers mate, if the dattos looks in good nic ill just drop that in for now, only real option have just enoguh $ for that and ill get it tuned for fuel econ and safe figures, leave it at that and save up for the hks

  21. haha i realsied the whole pm thing jsut after i posted, and yeah in the end the s1 would likly be cheaper then a rebuilt on either mine or yours, yeah fixing clutch is needed, lol, and thats a lot of stuff working on lists atm, good stuff to cheers alex
