Hey trouble with my R33... Some background: everything is stock except for a pod filter... but in the mornings when i hop into my car, everytime i brake i can hear a grinding sound coming from the brakes. But later on when the car is warmer, it doesnt grind anymore, can anyone help me? and also... Everytime i go over bumper my back suspension gives out a squeking sound... does that mean i need new suspension? Thanks for everyone's help! Joe

Hi everyone! Ive been on the site for two weeks now, never did a formal intro for some reason... :$ Name is Joe, and i live in the eastern suburbs. Im a proud owner of red R33 S2 for about a month now, the car is total stock expt for the pod filter i put in yesterday... My first car was a Corolla, and this is my second car so im pretty much mechanically illiterate, so im gonna need as much help as i can get to make this my dream dream ride... In the past two weeks ive had fun, and im looking forward to meet everyone at cruises or what have you. Cheers Joe

dudes... what we should do is import some blowtorches from China (my bro got them for AUD$140 and $80 postage), hook the switch to our car's alarm system, set it to minimum, so when a person sits in the driver's seat and try hot-wiring the pride and joy, he will get a bit of a scar to remember it by. im so sick of people keying, scratching, stealing, tossing shit at the car!!! Gosh!!!

dude driving down Portrush road today, some idiot with some kind of metal bar hanging outside of his door storms down Portrush road doing about 120 in a piece of shit, and the bloody metal bar flies out and scratches my passenger side door! The guy stopped, apologised, and just f**king took off!! no details, not nothing, didnt even get out of the f**king car! now im left with a scratch on my 33, the paint being shithard to find as it is, now i gotta re-match the colour and get the car fixed!! which is gonna cost me about $200!!!! people these days are so bloody irresponsible with their driving... now i gota find a decent scratch fixer/panel painter...

haha my bro sent me this thing from the states... it says that one of his mates got a blowtorch wired into his security system. so instead of the alarm going off, the blowtorch would just shoots out fire at the person sitting at the steering wheel... how awesome would that be!!! that ought to teach them about touching another person's ride!!! Pardon me for my ignorance as i have never owned a turbo car before... Im thinking about getting a turbo timer for my car, so i was reading up on the purpose of them... the description they had really confused me... Can someone kindly explain to me th purpose of a turbo timer in simple words and als the advantage of getting one? Also, if possible, wats a good one to get? Also, ive got a R33 Series 2, and my turbo only goes from -7 to 2 or 3, why wont it go higher? Is there something wrong with the turbo?

Hey everyone im considering re-painting my car (long story, but i gotta repaint my front bumper and re-polish my car, which is gonna cost me a fortune anyway...), so i was wondering how much it would cost roughly to get a mettalic colour done and who to go through. Also i was wondering, do i have to inform Transport SA about my new car colour? coz when u r doing ur registration it says your car colour and stuff... Cheers!

i recently scratched the front bumper of my R33 and was wondering if anyone knows any good panel painter so i can get the bit re-sprayed...
