Ben at RacePace put my 100% stock R34 GTR on his dyno and it made 211 rwkw. I fitted a HKS cat back and boost has now hit 1.2 bar, so I'm guessing it makes a bit more now. The 211rwkw figure was made with stock airbox and panel filter, shitty compliance cat, stock exhaust, 180km restricted. The motor had 59,000kms on it.

I'm on my 3rd import, and I've learnt a valuable lesson from the first two. Modifications add very little to the value of your car. I spent the purchase price in mods again on my first two, not a cent on my 3rd. I have lost more money than I care to remember on my first 2 imports. When I played with Yank muscle and Oz muscle I made money on every car I ever owned, this is foreign to me. Anybody undertaking modifying an Import needs to be prepared to take it up the ass at sale time. I wish it wasnt so, because I would be driving an R35 right now if I got back what I spent, easily. My first 2 imports easily soaked up over $150,000 from 2001 till 2008, all I have to show for it is an R34 GTR and some spare parts. I would love to be able to get back the price I spent, then I wouldnt have to keep my R34 stock. Were not prostitutes because we sell our cars beneath the price we have spent on it, we are realists. A car is only worth what somebody is prepared to pay. Hopefully somebody will pay what you want....................eventually. Good luck buddy, as I've said before, your car is a gem, just keep it.

Paul I'm just checking with Vic Roads what I need to do in regards to getting it registered. I would realy love to own Twoogle. John, I'd rather sell it with the wheels on. You have no idea how tempting that idea is. I rate your GTR in the top 5 GTR's in Australia. I recently got out of a 450 rwkw GTR, and I really really miss it. Its just that I hope I am getting old enough to realise highly modified GTR's are a dead end money pit, regardless of the fact they have no equal on the road. Let me think about it, getting it registered in Vic is my biggest hurdle. I know I'm probably going to do this, and get a divorce lol I'll let you know shortly. Thank you for the offer. Your not going to believe I already own RH9GTR number plates lol

Its not just the dollar. This is not my first GTR. The last one made close to 500awkw, I sold it for $30,000, it was mint, flawless. I see guys asking for $50,000 for R32's ffs that wouldnt hold a candle to my last effort. I'm all for maximising what you can get, good luck to them if they can get it. I see someone is trying to get close to $140,000 at the moment. Very hard to get $$$$$$$$ back for mods. Thats why no mods this time, just a perfect mint black R34 GTR, with the best wheels ever made for a GTR (my opinion). My price is based on the condition of the car, the price others are asking. I get my licence back in 4 weeks, not as important if I sell it or not now, but its worth more than a modified 32 or 33 in my opinion, alot more. I speak from experience. I hope everyone gets what they want for their 32's and 33's by the way, I love all GTR's.

Gotta love this thread lol Thats my car, I was in the passenger seat, the guy driving was 23yo, he didnt go over the speed limit ONCE on the entire 3 hour drive till he was 10 minutes from Frankston. Still, lets not ruin a good story with the truth. Maybe black 34's look fast standing still lol

Do you have pics of the engine bay, interior, dyno sheet. Would you sell without the rims. I'm a genuine buyer, not a tyre kicker. I've had a look at a few 32's now and am disapointed at the overall condition.

No marks, inside or out. I will be replacing it with an R32 or R33 GTR as I will always own one, I simply cant justify having this much money sitting around not being driven.

I'm with Nismoid here. With cops and EPA ruining it for all of us, I figured that you would forsake low mounts for a single high mount once you wanted more than 380rwkw. Whats wrong with running -5's for 350-380rwkw, are you telling me they are not responsive. For the record I've had HKS 2530's and a T88H-38GK in the same car and I prefer the single over the twins, but I only swapped cause I wanted more power. In the current enviroment, I really dont think I will ever go a single again, which is a shame. I have a 34 now which will more than likely see -5's, fingers crossed with Ben's 2.9 kit Kemp, if these arent issues where you live, then ignore my post, its not relevant to your situation, enjoy your GTR, 300rwkw is fast no matter what you use.

Ben, even though it goes against what you are trying to achieve, what kind of results would you expect by running a big single, say a T88H-38GK on this 2.9 set up. Would there be boost by 4000rpm and would 550-600rwkw be achievable on Shell 100 octane fuel.

Having owned GTR's that are stock (211rwkw), mild ( 280rwkw), pretty fast (370rwkw) and the best (460rwkw), I dont think I would ever opt for anything other than 460rwkw again. I am currently driving a GTR with 225rwkw and hating it, its for sale. Again, this is just an opinion, and all of those cars were 100% street driven, everyday, never been on a track with a GTR. In my opinion, the difference between lag and response is gear selection. For the sake of your thread, the 370rwkw was an HKS 2530 set up. -
