  1. Gday Sloutch, looks like I may have an Evo soon. Hows your 33 going?
  2. My R34 may be going to a new home, if it does, I will seperate pieces and sell seperately
  3. I currently have a few trade offers on the table. Please make an offer if your are genuinely interested. In the whole time the car has been on the market, I have had one tyre kicker come to look at it, thats it. Unlike the other guys selling their 34's, I will be replacing mine with another car as its my only car, thats why I'm open to trade offers. Understanding the economic climate better than most, I have a mortgage, wife, 5 kids and a new business, I know people dont have $50,000 to throw around on toys, thats why I am so open to trade offers. I drive my car 2-3 times a week for 15 minutes at a time, maybe, so I really dont need a $50,000 car. Please dont be shy in offering trades, I can only say no, and trust me when I tell you that your offer wont be the strangest. When /if the car goes, I should list everything thats been offered lol
  4. I just had a deal fall through with a guy with a Stagea, he couldnt come up with sufficient funds. Id consider the Stagea and the TME Evo but I hav no use for a track car unfortunately.
  5. Comparing dyno sheets with mxfly at the time revealed that the Trust unit made 80rwkw more at 4000rpm than the HKS GT-RS. mxfly sold his turbo soon after lol I too had the Tomei cams you have, doing all my parts adding one at a time on the same dyno revealed the cams added more power than any other mod. The turbo added 20rwkw ( 180 - 200rwkw) then the cams were added and it went from 200rwkw to 225 rwkw. Manifold and more tuning, other small parts, 100 octane shell fuel, made up the rest. Gearbox aside these are the perfect RWD vehicles at an affordable price in my opinion.
  6. Can I ask who rebuilt the motor. I have GTAHHH plates on my GTR R34, also in Vic... lol. If I sell my 34 I'll give you a call.
  7. Lots of power, must go great. I miss my S15. My S15 ran a T518Z, made 259rwkw, around 340rwhp , which was plenty fast, but it also made 200rwkw , around 266rwhp, at 4000rpm. I had a PAR engineering gearbox, all runs in fifth - 1:1 ratio. It was mounted on a HPI manifold. The manifold gave my 10kw at the top and 22kw at 4000rpm. Best $1,500 I ever spent. Transformed the car. I only ran the car once at Calder, blew the clutch mid track, ran 13.0 @ 70mph. The SS Commodore in the other lane ran 13.6 @ 106mph.
  8. Back up for sale, last buyer couldnt get sufficient funding
  9. My PFC ran/runs ( I sold the car) my R33 GTR perfectly with 471rwkw. I'm not saying that another ECU may not have been better, but to put a power limit on the FC seems wrong, but I'm no tuner, just a lowly end user.
  10. I havent driven both so I cant argue with you. The only information I have are performance figures, ie Nurburgring, 1/4 mile etc. I do think I recently read somewhere that at a particular track day in Sydney, an S15 and an R32 GTR handed the R35 its ass to it. Maybe they had invested $170,000 in them, again, I dont know. But if an R35 is 3 times quicker round the ring, the 1/4 and 0-100, than an R34 or any car for that matter, I have been reading the wrong information. Were off topic and I apologize for that. Back on topic.
  11. For the record, those boys built 2 awesome cars for me Back on topic
  12. How much work have they done, is it a kit or simply the turbos ie lines, gaskets etc
  13. Maybe, but lets look at some interesting facts. Its the last GTR with 3 pedals, replacement gearbox costs less than $20,000, only 12,000 made, even fewer left, aftermarket support dating back 20 years. The new GTR has created lots of interest, some that cant afford the running costs of new just may look at previous model. At a third of a price, it offers much more than a third of the performance. Anyway, it'll have to do for now lol
  14. pm's replied, your Stagea looks great.
  15. Has the panel damage been repaired? How much for the the Trust turbos?
  16. Trent, you have helped me many many times in the past, but you dont know me, we will meet soon, but I dont give a toss about dyno's, they are for tuning purposes, I'm sure you understand that better than me. Nigels car was built to go fast, and it did. For a car to be 10 times better, it should run at least as quick. For the record, Nigel's 10.9 was never done with his max power figure, traction prevented that, so power is not the only key to a fast car. Like its been stated, he eventually made 550rwkw. I think he also put down some good roundy - roundy times on various tracks. Not having a go, just dont like the 10 x better statement seeing as the car has only been on a dyno ( I think) See you soon.
  17. Price of R34's may just go up when these superbly built and fast money pits hit the road. As much as I want one, I just dont think I could ever justify the price of maintaining one over my 34, but things change.
  18. I have been driving the car more often, but alas, I work from home. I am always looking for a chance to get out there, but its alot of money sitting there not being used. I have had some enquiries today about trade ins. I understand that very few people have that kind of money to throw away on toys, and the fact is I'm going to replace the car if it sells, that is why I am so easy going in regards to trades. Some see this as there is something wrong with my car lol, just come see. By taking a trade in, I solve 2 problems for me and 2 for the new buyer. As long as the car is clean and interesting, I will have a look, the worst I can say is no thankyou. I'm waiting for pics now. As far as going to a car show, no time sorry, I am flat out with my gym business, no time off, 7 days a week.
  19. Ray should have some customers that may need them, ask Alex if he wants them for one of his 500 GTR's lol. Nice 34 by the way
  20. Yep, $5000, or you can find someone to buy skirts and rear bar
  21. The rear bar and skirts are still all wrapped up, I didnt want to unwrap them, I think you'll get the jist from the pics that its a genuine kit, the guy that provided the kit was a part owner of N1, they were the C West distributors in Victoria. He is a close friend.
