  9. Yep, you guys are right! definately no series 3 GTS box... spoke to the original source again and they confirm that for some reason they starting thinking GTR even though I had said RB25DET... lol. Thanks for your help guys. Dan.
  10. See, SAU Rocks! I was skeptical at first, thinking the same as you guys, I had heard of a series 3 for GTR, but not GTS... I wondered if perhaps it might be from a R34 GTT??? Some more research needed. Cheers guys!
  11. Hi Guys, I am looking at upgrading my R33 series 1 RB25DET gearbox, I am looking at either a Series 3 or even a straight cut gear set. My question is; What are the differences between Series 1 and series 3 boxes? And How do you identify them externally (Markings and model numbers etc)? Thanks in advance peeps.

  15. Strongbow Sweet?
  16. Just can't seem to win a trick Neil. I shall work on pulling my gearbox out then. Should be tuning it soon.
  17. Agreed, and worse when you add a roll cage to it. But lets face it, once you add a roll cage you have given up on building your car for ride and comfort. Neil, I have next week off (pretty much) so what are you up to next weekend?
  18. Don't forget to mount it upside down mate I have Wednesday arvo and Thursday off this week, I'll check with the chief owner and operator to see if she has scheduled home work and if not I will place an application for "play with someone else's race car" leave. Those wheels look very similar to Work Emotion, which I do believe come in 17x8 and the guy I bought them through sold them individually.
  19. I watch and oh so want to wander down the hill to play... I'll have to call and make a plan...
  20. The best way to work out where your tyre pressure is and where it should be is to look at your tyres when they come off the car, this will give you and indication of how your set up is also. Try to set the pressure's cold, do some runs, check the hot pressures and then look at the tyre, it should show even wear across the whole tyre, too much in the centre = too high pressure. Don't be afraid of low pressures, at Eastern Creek turn 4-12 circuit at night we start at 29 degrees and work down from there. Hope this helps and... Stay Sidewayz Kidz!
  21. Hi Neil, 2 litres should be plenty, from memory we had 2 litres to do the entire interior and majority of the exterior and also and I think there is still about 1/2 a litre left, if you know what you are doing you should probably get away with 1 litre. Stay sidewayz kidz!
