Best place to drift is turn 2 at EC... second best place is turn 9 at EC. Wet is better for tyres, and easier to get it all hanging out... but it is also easier to lose it!

What a day. Well the ankle held up ok... much better than my tyres. Had a ball, got to drive a type R integra and also passenge in a 205 GTI. Had some fun in my car, believe that pete has some footage of this. Played fun and games with a "It is you job to pass me, why should I move over for you" VS/VX? SS crummy dore with SUE number plates... what a typical crummy dore driver. aparently he lives in the mountains too... hmmm Did some nice laps early, HOW PACKED was group C. I think I overtook 2 cars a minute in the first session... was good though. Had a ball all day... but wasn't it long, went home and had one more beer... which took ages to drink and fell asleep. Good to meet all the newby's, all were great people and I hope to see you all again. As for the crazy regulars, a pleasure to spread rubber with you as always. Dino, If you sell the head unit let the person know that I have a 10 stacker going cheap that will bolt straight to it!!! Yeah Shell, I think that it will be time to get a new stacker soon.

Hey Shell, I'm may be able to get along to the cruise your talking about, not sure what dad is up to but I'll chat to him and see. As for the stacker I have been doing some research and discovered that my stacker will only fit a standard r33 head unit. Nissan had special plugs made up for the stacker and head unit... good job nissan. So the long and the short of it is that if your head unit is anything other than a factory head unit then your buggered. Sorry mate, Dan

Hey all, Myself and a couple of mates, two r33's, one r31 (maybe two), a mini, and possibly a crummydore are going to go for a short cruise tonight. We are going to head down to Penrtih and then out to Richmond. We will probably then head up to Hawksbury lookout, and into springwood for a beer or two. I have to agree with red, wakefield is a good circuit, but it is too short and tight... I like EC because it has a good mixture of fast sweepers and tight turns, it is also longer, much longer. Best time at EC (fast sweeping track) is 1:58, best time at wakefield (slow tight circuit) is 1:16 I think? I think that EC is smoother too.
