Looks like a great cruise... Really sorry I missed it, and I fell that I must take some responsibility for the apparent excessive speeds. In Future I will highlight the need to just overtake and go for a "little" blat, not take off down the road. But that is over now. This is a day/night event, come and see 1000hp V8's do battle with Japan's hottest imports. Hot 4's Car display, Team Drifting, Motocycle Stunts, The Edge 96.1 Miss DRIFT AUSTRALIA amature modeling comp and much more. I went to Adelaide with SAU member Chris Eastern and Initial Drift Member Fernando Wiehrl and it was really a top weekend. This time it is all jam packed into one HUGE day. So if your not busy, come down and witness the best drifing the country has to offer, and of course support Chris and I as we try and knock the rest of Australia off their podium and take the silverware away from Fernando! Thanks Oz, that is what I was thinking... will require more parking attendants, and also for prizes to be awarded throughout the day hopefully. Keep the suggestions coming, unfortunatly I don't have any T-Shirts to hand out... but you will get the Respect! (and to the guys that asked me to come back with some shirts for comments, I didn't forget, just got busy counting, and when I looked up everyone had moved there cars onto the parking area and I had lost you.)

I like those ideas of having more categories, and I am by no means discounting them at this stage... the only problem with more categories is the time it takes to judge, collate and award them. Do you guys have suggestions on how we can streamline this process, I understand that this is a slightly difficult question as your not totally in the know with the way judging was done this year, but any suggestion is a good one. I didn't even get to perv at Pauls car... in fact any car at all... and I spent more time at Mingara on Sunday than most (not all) people! That is the bigest dissapointment.

Just my 2 yen. I guess that even if you had asked the actual judges, and I think Adam (Abo Bob) commented earlier, that even they would not have agreed with the final results... which was exactly the point, and seems to be the clear view of most people here, the majority of people think that the cars that won should have... as was the case with the judges... Anyway, I had a great day... my biggest regret was not being able to get a good look at all the wonderful examples of skylines on display... even though I did 4 or 5 laps of the show looking for missing info on entry forms... LOL. Looking forward to next one, But don't forget the other club event in the near future, the SAU drag day on the 31st of July and the SAU Putty road cruise on Saturday 17th of September.
