  1. Yeah mate, got 2 actually... oh hang on, that's not for me, I'll go back to my corner.
  2. Mate I would have to agree with the above and suggest the school. It's a shorter way to learn what has taken us years to work out. You certainly won't be lining up for Drift Australia after your first day, but you will have the basic skill set to take forward if you like drifting. Other benifits are that at least with the Project D drift school you get to use cars built by some of Aus best drifters, trained by the guys that built them, and you don't have to beat up on your own car. You might even see me! lol I still gotta learn to drift too
  3. Wow, I have it on Austar IQ. Have done since it was released.
  4. I'll see what I can find around the place. Might take a little while though, I have a fair bit on atm. DJRIFT makes many good points. Including the last one
  5. Found this one too, not an r33, but still cool vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjNzcjFgV6s I'll be good now.
  6. Send him to Project D Drift School.
  7. Some wicked skids there. Very nice. Let me know next time you are going... I will dream.
  8. See the full sick mirrior dangler in my avatar????
  9. Yep, those where the day's.... now it sits in the garage, never driven... it is a terrible shame that I'll have to set right by christmas... I found some fotage of it before I smashed it the first time.... Oran park... so decent angle out of the old girl... and a good bit of inspiration. But PLEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE don't tell the missus I won't to get it going again... :)
  10. Looking forward to the next one too, got the OK (in 4 weeks) from the doc that I can go sliding again! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee HHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
  11. Guys I spoke to Project D and they have agreed to allow SAU members to enter at Project D member prices for this event. Should be an excerlent day and heaps of track time. To boot there will be 2 or 3 of Australia's top drifters there as well who can lend a hand to those learning to drift and likewise for those heading out on track for their first circuit event. I'm dissapointed I can't drive again yet or I would be there for sure!
  12. I just can't help but think of what happens when you run out of talent and have a big loose, chasing opposite lock to try and catch the big slide through the dipper at OP... Possibly a stupid question, but is the point where the LCA meets the castor arm supposed to be unmovable? (maybe I looked at the pic's poorly, but it looks like there is movement there?) I would also have to agree with Duncan, Alignment is very important with all these adjustable parts on board now and a solid check of this, possibly with standard wheels on, might be an idea? Anyway, just some idea's, hopefully they help.
  13. Lol...
  14. Lots of knowlegde and idea's in this thread, And it's the closest I get to building one of these for a while... So I'm grabbing a front row seat while they are still going cheap.
  15. Depends on what gear too, 3rd for this one?
  16. Uniquie still only have the 2wd dyno?
  17. What tyres are you going to run on Friday Andrew?
  18. Very interested in how this tracks... I'll have a chat to Duncan next time I bump into him. This system should be adaptable to any Engine/car config?
  19. Looks like a fun project... Is Duncan building the engine? Will be watching this one, good luck peoples.
  20. Yeah, I agree, comparison pic's a must I think... But I'm very Jelous... indeed. Good way to spend a few $k
  21. How cool, Ikeya Formula make boxes just like the Dutch Dolls... EDIT: Hang on... nope, they have bits in them... thought that this was Fatz's thread...
  22. Some clay bar work required there.
  23. You'll put it all back on on the 13th! lol
