  1. John, I was thinking that Prank, Carlo and yourself could decide if you want to run in A or B, C will be pretty slow this time due to D being book for a private group. You Guys will be WAY to fast for group C.
  2. Interested parties: akira (Deposit 18/5/03) Prank (Deposit) Roy Roy's mate Bonkers Nissaner (Deposit 15/5/03) Nissaner Mate (Deposit) Shunted (Deposit 16/5/03) Carlo (Awaiting deposit now) Fatz (For BBQ and Heli's on the grass) Majanal (90% now... just gotta get turbo checked) Zane Oz (90%) Now we have 11/12 that are very interested some have already paid deposits... now I need deposits from the rest of you people, I WILL be ringing Dave tomorrow to give our final numbers and all those that haven't got deposits done by then WILL miss out as I know that the day is full. Setup for this day will be 4 groups. Group A (Fastest/Experienced Drivers) Group B (Those that have been before but still want a bit more practice) Group C (The Newbies and the slower cars such as excels and stuff) Group D has been booked by a group booking. I had thought that we would put our people as follows. Group A, Roy, Bonkers, Zane, Oz and Majanal Group B, Akira, Roys Mate, Nissaners mate and Shunted. And let Prank, Carlo and Nissaner make up there own mind in which group they would like to be part of. I believe that Duncan might be around to help out with a few tips to help people drive a bit slower and to try and convince them that cheater tyres is the way to go! Cheers, Dan.
  3. Entysu, The Wakefield Park day was on Saturday. Look for the "Next Moto Concepts Drive day, Monday 9th June" thread in NSW events section. which will give you the next Eastern Creek Day. Cheers, Dan.
  4. Just a question... have you had your injectors cleaned?
  5. Not Whinging Rhys... just giving experience... I actually thought it was quite funny and an interesting experience... ie. Learnt that stock boost gauge is shit and bleed valve (which I appreaciated and still must get back to you) was more sensitive in my car than yours. did go REALLY hard though!
  6. I'll drive to the venue... but your driving home!
  7. ed, Your power out put is proportional to the amount of boost you run mostly. If it has a power fc the it will manage the engine a bit better and can be programmed to give more fuel change timing etc to gain a little more power. If it had a power fc then probably a mark of 175-190rwkw depending on condition of other engine parts and connections etc.
  8. I had this problem with the stock ecu... got hold of a power fc and problem hasn't come back untill I put stock ecu back in to test something else. I don't know what it is... maybe fuel delivery from the ecu seeing as boost cut is apperently at .9bar (14psi). I did also change gap sizes to .8mm. I would redcomend that you run stock boost untill a boost guage is installed. When I first installed my bleed valve (which I'm not using any more) I still had the boost guage sitting in the passenger seat nect to me... took it for a drive and it really flew. Installed the boost guage and was actually running 1.4Bar which is WAY too much. The factory boost guage didn't even make the 7+ line.
  9. Did he check to make sure that all the plugs (electrical not spark) were in correctly? Sometimes the need to be given a quite decent squeez to be conected properly... especially the one that is connected to the afm.
  10. Mailing details are at the bottom of the form.
  11. Bugger... so lotsa money to mod the pimpin wagon! Are... track day... who said anything about a track day... that is in this thread!!!:bahaha:
  12. Firstly check your spark plugs. How many kms has it done... has it had the timing belt and all that done... give it a good service and see if that helps. If you running a standard ecu then you probably still have the boost cut enabled... which I think is set at 8 or 9psi (If somebody knows exactly then please let me know). Try these first. If that does not work then you might try a smaller gap sized plug... that worked for me.
  13. That power figure is pretty close to the mark. I had almost the same mods at my last dyno day and pulled 162rwkw.
  14. The power fc commander is exactly that... a commander... you can change evey parameter in the computer that is required for tuning the car that it is designed for, which I believe is some 800+ parameters. Croydon is not my choice as for the money they charge I can get my car tuned twice at Ric Shaws, and I have heard and seen similar results from both.
  15. Shell, I'm pretty sure you should get more kms out of a platinum set approx 100,000kms. Unless your running big boost so I have been told.
  16. So Far: fatz Majanal Silver Carlo B-Man Roy Bonkers 31GUN Neil and Mel aza Total = 11 Tis looking like a good turnout!!! now I'm not alowed to drink and drive (court bloke told me that!)... so who is going to be DD (Drink Driver)?
  17. Nice Idea Neil... I used to be a bit of a self proclaimed slot car specialist... specialist at the trashing part! Fatz... is beer all that is in you head?
  18. Told you it'd get ya!!! Don't forget that there are only 10-15 spots, first in with there deposits gets em!!!
  19. I just go em all... I have always thought that the gears were put there to be used...
  20. Try Ric Shaw Performance. Dad (Bonkers) has had very good things to say about Ric. See this thread for more details I will be taking my car there as soon as I get an issue sorted with it. If you live at noosa though how come your getting car tuned in sydney? Dan.
  21. Yeah I had the same problem. Changed plug gap sizes and was ok. On closer inspection it appears that my coil packs or getting pretty shagged also. Hope this helps.
  22. recon sounds like it is needed... shell can drive as she knows the pub she is talking about... we'll just navigate to the other pubs in the area that need to be looked at!
