You would be looking around 8 to 10 grand for the kit landed in aust then you have to pay for fit and paint.... http://www.bee-r.com/main/parts/aero/b334r01.htm This week put the front end back together New gear box rubbers for the mount ouch 85 bucks to replace all 4! New nismo engine mounts Ati balancer Just goto fit the koyo oil cooler and braided cooler lines.Had 2 speed flow fittings damaged and had to get them replaced. All thats left is oil/fluids and bolt the panels back on and away we go. Back to the dyno to finish the tune off should be running around with 450hp atws daily well thats the target im shooting for. Ill be ready for powercruise at the end of the year,Got a shed this time so no 4 hour line ups to get on the track.God bless pit passes!

can t say that i have ever parked next to a commo with my 33 and thought hell that commo makes my 33 look like shit!

Heres a few pictures of where im at till this week end comes up i should get every thing fitted back onto the car . As you can see i also replaced all of the bolts with stainless steel allen key head bolts and nylocs. Still a few items that need to be cleaned up and once shes up and running im taking the car to my fabricators to remove the factory plastic and making alloy pipe kit that i will paint in metalic black 2 pac to keep inline with the cooler pipe inside the engine bay. Only thing i have to get done at once point is the cam angle sensor that i will do when i do cam gears. I went as far as to pull the throttle linkage apart and paint the indervidual parts. painted my hks intercooler pipes aswell and all of the brackets to date in either the car color gtr silver or metalic black.

Heres a quick update. Motor is back in the engine bay and started to put the engine bay back together to find a few brackets here and there like the radiator and power steer brack and unsightly not to mention a few others so im set back a week or so with cleaning and 2 pack painting more stuff for the engine bay. To be honest at the end of the day it will look tidy as hell and very clean and as i went away from polished items that people normaly do it is however a massive job...... So people if you are keen to do what i did take a long hard look at how much work is in this because it feels never ending and there is no quick way about this.So far its taken 5 months to get where i am and at the end of the day im sure people will say i don t see what the fuss is about it does not look like there would be that much in it. Ill have engine bay pics up once i have finshed painting the last of the brackets befor i put the panels back on the car,Im close and excited.

Are these the same brake set up as a 33 vspec? They look the same as mine from when i did mine up. To look at that is.

A good mate called me up today say congrats about your car being in the latest autosalon magazine and im like WTF MATE??? Any how it did make it into a few random powercruise pictures from last year in brissy so im gunna have to post them up . Pretty funny in the 3rd picture the caption about plenty of 34 gtr's being at powercruise when mines a 33 gtr hahah Im happy tho in a 2 page spread they threw my R in 3 times And as for a status update im almost finished painting every thing im very close to putting it all back together.Im pretty excited.

Ok here goes. In my projects and overhual thread some of you maye have notice i found 2 clips or parts of the insert spring off syncros 3 and 4. I need to call up nissan about some prices but i have no clue what the part numbers would be.....IS there a guide some where or some one here who knows part numbers from inside the 33 gtr gearbox. Heres what im chasing. Syncro 3 Syncro 4 Countershaft rear bearing the one in the center. (not the rear end bearing) 3and4 insert springs Rest of my syncros are fine but ill get a price on replacing all of them while the box is apart i guess. Isn t it hard as hell to get the ceramic coating off? Correct they are reasonably rare manifolds. There was a set on here 2 months ago in good order sold for 600 bucks? i know because i wanted to buy them but they were snaped up strait away...

Week befor xmas is hectic but i have picked up a few new items. Ati balancer new 33 Gtr floormats new Nismo engine mounts. Cheers and merry xmas all have a good one.

Mine are 19 .10.5 all the way round i would not take less then 5g for mine either.

Back at it again this week working on cleaning up my engine bay. This week i sandblasted and etch primed all my custom brackets for the 34 Bee-R conversion and various other items from the engine bay. Had my radiator shroud plastic welded and then preped it up for paint,These things are so flimsy be carfull when playing with these they are so very easy to break,Also preped up my koyo radiator for paint. I preped up my twin turbo pipe and plenum im going away from polishing this one as i want a diffrent look from my last engine bay that was all polished up. Any way here are the pic's from this weekends painting adventures its a black metalic mica look. Radiator shroud and radiator Turbo pipe and plenum Pictures don t do it justice the paint on the plenum and twin turbo pipe came out like glass and the metalic will look shit hot in the sun for sure.Theres alot of work in cutting down the cast to get these to look like this. May aswell be spray painters and panel beaters anthony the amount of cars we do up together lol Hilux 33 skyline had a full color change, 32 gtr full respray and my 33gtr engine bay the roof i did on the deawoo lol in black holo spec courts jzx100 kit and front end spray. The amount of cam covers and brakes lol Plus you already did your old 33 and your tx5 the kit on the jzx90 befor i sold it. We are crazy i tell ya we never no when to stop.

Yep Bee R really know what they are doing when it comes to fit and quality of the product,I have had 3 spray shops look at my kit and all said the fit and quality is second to none its perfect. I am not really a flare kit kinda guy i always think it looks slightly off,But when i saw this car for the first time it just blew my mind how well the kit fitted the car and looked like it was ment to be there. Back to the topic at hand,After 8 weeks off due to a 8 year relationship breakdown and unable to live under the same room she finaly moved out of my house and first week end back im strait in to the swing of things and here is what i am up to now. Engine bay primed and ready to go. Now onto the paint side of things. Really happy with the end product after the welding and what not. Few days time ill be able to start to place things back in the engine bay ready for the motor to go in. I have yet to do my cam covers i am going for a really clean and tidy look i almost did them in the silver of the car but stilll undicided on what to do. Brake booster is silver tho. Any ideas guys? I was looking at the aurion ice melt blue as i have some from my hilux resto its really clean looking blue,Every one does candy red for a good reason as it looks so damn nice but i like to be a little diffrent. not to be a nay sayer but isn t there a reason why you don t put a forward facing planum on a rb20? I remeber my performance mechanic saying people had tried it and it did something wrong with the motor. I could be wrong but that is what he said when a mate of mine asked to modify his rb20 planum to forward facing.

that loom is direct plug for factory correct? IF so i have a m800 with a full loom not the patch loom like yours are you intrested in trade or just selling it to me. The m800 is good for any car at all your limited to just what your loom can plug into I have a 33gtr already have a motec m800 just have not bought the plug and play loom let me know

Will these fit a 33 or only a 32?

Started seem welding the engine bay today,After seeing the time spent on Johnbarrys engine bay and being a part of that i was sorta discouraged from the whole seem welding engine bay side of things but once the motor was out and i scraped back some of the salastic on the seems i hit a good mate up whos a welder by trade and had him come around with his tig gas/electic welder and im happy with it so far. No regrets other then having to put the motor back in lol. My good mate mic in his work boots Befor and after strut tops I figure if i am going to the trouble of pulling out the motor and painting the engine bay i may aswell weld it all up. If all goes well there should be no filler used on the welded parts,Mic is pretty handy with the welder plus its a decent one worth about 7 to 8 grand.

The gear box will be pulled apart by my mechanic who is a performance mechanic localy and knows skylines and there gearboxes like the back of his hand. Not worried about the box at all to be honest but there is no way id put it back in the car knowing theres some clips off not doing there job. Turns out i do have Mines sporst division dump pipes that lead into a tune length veilside front pipes then into a 5 inch balistic cat then into a twin hks exaust system. I dont think i could possibly get a more miss matched exaust if i tried hahah but it sounds great and its all stainless and it works and thats what matters. Just spent the last hour cleaning my shed up and my landlord is not going to be happy jan if they saw the floor lol,More stains then a hookers undies i tell ya. Hope they come out when the cars moved the degresser i had shifted some but i thinks ill be up for a acid wash. Time to deloom the engine bay to get ready for prep work. P.S I work with my old man we are half partners,Floor sanders so dad if your reading this i really am sick! and dont come around my house till tomorrow.

Pictures of my engine out. So we droped the fluids out and low and behold when we droped the gearbox fluid i found some clips that im sure are ment to be in the gearbox now hanging off the magnet! On stands Thanks to ANT man who looks like a black fella here We were cheering after the first night at how easy it was to get it to the point we could lift the motor out. Basicaly broke one engine mount only and the side shaft gave us some grief to get out but other then that it was a 2 night afair the second night we spent a little longer then we wanted too. Next steps are clean up shed !! what a fing mess,Then clean down parts and engine bay ready to be smoothed. While motor is out ill get a few things polished and a few things painted to bring the engine bay up to scratch with the rest of the car as its a massive let down looking at the out side then opening the hood. More pictures to come off the engine bay after the loom is tidy up.
