  1. $850 Thats a very cheep intercooler kit. Id like to know more about them. If you got that intercooler you would be able to afford a SAFC as well. Not as good as power FC but it would still help your fuel ecconomy.
  2. EBC sounds good but you would need to the hand controller and a soliniod. Cheep option but not a proven one
  3. That power at those particular revs sounds about right. But you should continue to make power til about 6400, or even more with your mods eg exhaust. Peak power arrives t 6400 on a standard car. hopefully its just the coil packs.
  4. Yeah Mate ive got the DVD to Thought the same thing. Top speed test was good and the lap with Dirk. Man that thing went. All the performance DVD's Ive seen have left me a bit dissapointed. Id like to see more DVD's with before and after mods, Dino runs ect. That would be realy interesting.

  6. I have tried this. i put a thead on arm of the actuator had to have it realy short before it would make a difference. It would hold 7psi to 5000rpm and then creep to 11psi at redline. I only have a cat back exhaust though maybe I need a dump pipe?
  7. Sydney kid I have got myself a R32 actuator and tested it with an air compressor and yes it started to open at 10psi. But we I connected it and drove it I opened at 5psi and held 5psi. Have I connected this wrong? Or could there be something else interfering? Ive connected the the wastegate actuator nipple directly the nipple on the intercooler piping and have completely disconnected the the factory soliniod. Hope you can help
  8. if I dont tighten the actuator I have a solid 6psi if I tighten it. it slowly rises due to the wastegate not opening as far. I dot understand whats going on.
  9. That is the way I have it set up from the intercooler pipe as in the pic to the actuator.
  10. Yes I am messuring boost from after the intercooler so I dont know whats going on.

  12. I reciently got my hands on a RB20DET actuator for my r33 gtst as I beleived there spring is rated at 10psi (R33 is 6psi). Before installing it on my car I tested it with an air compressor in conjunction with a boost gauge and all seemed fine started to open at 10psi. Took my old one off and did the same test it started to open at 6psi. So I installed the RB20DET actuator but I had to bend the arm in order to get it arround the turbo. After doing this I used the air compressor again and it started to open at 10psi perfect. But when I test drove the car boost would only hold to 5psi wich is were my probem lies. I put a thread on the actuator arm to adjust the tention after many trials the best we could manage was 8psi to 5000 and then it creeps up to 11psi to 7000 whch does not give the wastegate much room to move as the rod is so short. Does any body know what might be wrong? Ive heard that many people have had great success with this mod.

  14. R33 GTST is 187KW standard. Ive heard that GTR's Actually put out more power than the 206KW but say that because of the laws in japan. Im interested to see some rwkw results from each of these cars stock. I know they will probaly differ a bit but it would be interesting and we may see some proof of more than 206kw in the GTR's and remember you loose more rwkw in a 4wd system conpared to a rwd system. i did have a link to a website with all as new prices ill post itif I can find it.

  20. Fair enough makes sense. Mine was not very loader either its a lot loaded now after uping the boost. Ive heard the factory valves leak when you up the boost what pressure. how much boost can you run before this occurs.
