Steps to build the ultimate SS Killer in a Ford 6
Munna replied to GTS_300_Coupe's topic in General Automotive Discussion
You will need a lot more than those mods mate. My old VN 5spd used to beet ED to AU XR6's and I only had a few mods but a gen3 would have flogged me. Transplant a BA engine into it and start from there nizpro have a few kits for the new BA engine would be a beast then and give the gen3's a run for there money. -
all at 7000rpm 1st 60 2nd 100 3rd 150 4th 200 5th?
-
Do a search mate there is heaps of info on this topic. GCG highflow will cost you arround $2000 and is good for just over 250rwkw on a rb25 with supporting mods with similar spool time as the stock turbo.

Between R33 GTST S2 and JDM S15
Munna replied to fLipKnot's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Im 6ft 3 and have a r33 no sunroof, sunroofs will give you less headroom mate. I cant fit comfortly into a 32 but my 33 is fine. I have sat in a S15 (no sunroof)at the melbourne motor show a couple of years ago and I fitted fine because the seats seem to be a lot lower in the silvias. Both have the about the same power stock so the s15 is a bit quicker due to weight. Id test drive both cars if you can mate then make your desision. I see the skyline as a grand tourer andt he silvia as a sports car -
Ahh cheeter 4wd wish I had one. Id find it very hard to do 5.2's consistantly with my rwd

32 or 33 which 1 is the better???
Munna replied to bullet46's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Its a matter of opinion. But the facts R33 is roomer and has a better more powerful engine, r33 is 100kgs heavier but still quicker in a straight line. Ive heard R32s handle better but im unsure on that one. I prefer the looks of the R33, inside and out. R32's are starting to look a bit dated. -
0-100 4.5 damn best I can manage is 5.2.

Glues the pad to the caliper pistons to stop it rubbing against the disk.

The Nissan Skyline GTR story
Munna replied to scottman's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Its not to bad 0-300 in the top secret r33 is increadible, two r34 GTRs doing over 300 on the autobarn and a lap in a hotted up 34 around nurberg (or whatever the name of the track is) but the rest is pretty lame. -

Munna replied to damono's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I like the top secret front bars there was one for sale in the for sale section a while ago. -
There seems to be a lot of threads lot on what would win stock for stock for 0-400m and 0-100kmph. So I decided to make this list as a bit of a guide. Sources vary but I tried to take the manufactures claimed times were possible. I will update it from time to time. 0-100kmph 0-400m NISSAN R34 GTT 6.2 14.2 R33 GTS25T 6.18 14.4 R32 GTST 6.5 14.8 GTR R32 4.7 13 R33 4.9 13.2 R34 4.9 13.1 300ZX Z32 TT 2Seater 5.6 14.2 Silvia S13/180sx CA18DET 6.9 15 SR20DET 6.2 14.5 S15 Jap spec 5.5 13.8 TOYOTA MR2 GT 6.12 14.37 Soarer SC400 2.5TT 7 15.1 Soarer SC400 V8 8.9 16.5 Supra RZ 5.92 13.93 Supra SZ 6.6 14.9 Mazda RX7 86-88 Turbo 6.8 14.4 89-91 Turbo 6.5 14.4 95 Twin Turbo 5.2 14.0 Mitsubishi 99 magna V6 8.2 16.2 Holden VN V6 man 7.9 15.68 VP V6 man 8 15.5 VR V6 auto 9.3 16.8 VN SS 7.4 15.24 VS SS 7.34 15.27 VT SS Gen3 6.4 14.4 VX SS 6.23 14.35 VY SS S1 5.8 14.24 VY SS S2 5.8 13.94 VZ SS 5.82 13.99 HSV VP GTS 7.2 15.2 VR GTS 6.6 14.8 VX clubsport 5.7 13.9 VX GTS 300 5.1 13.3 VY Clubsport S2 5.3 13.5 Subaru 99 WRX 5.91 14.12 03 WRX 5.8 14 03 STI 5.43 13.62 Ford EB2 6 9.3 16.8 EL 6 8.9 16.8 AU 6 8.8 16.3 EL XR8 7.5 15.5 BA XR8 6.1 14.1 BA XR6T 5.9 14.1 FPV Typhoon F6 5.7 14.0 GT 5.9 14.2

skyline vs commodore = who would win?
Munna replied to liner32's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Hey are you going to get the gts with the 2.5 or 2.0 2.0 - 104 kW 2.5 - 143 kW VT V6 commodore 3.8 - 147 I recon a R33 GTS25 would beat a VT V6 commodore they are a heavy car. -
will do see if they belly out a bit

Cool should be interesting

I did the same thing in my car as have a standard turbo for a comparison (mods are in sig). I did it by just idling along in the selected gear than just held it flat. 2nd gear boost starts at 1000rpm and full boost 11psi at 3000rpm. 3rd gear was exacly the same. So to me it looks as though boost comes on 1000rpm later but spools just as quick or quicker than stock. You have got to be happy with that very impressive. I would like to see people do the same tests with 2535 standard gcg highflow ect for interests sake.

Thanks can anyone using hankook k104s confirm this did it make a difference with the tyres left down? how stiff are the sidewalls?

skyline vs commodore = who would win?
Munna replied to liner32's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Fair point but people have also underated them like yourself the skyline VT gen3 standard and GTST standard would be very close. 220kw vs 187 and the skyline has a hell of a lot less weight look up the manufactures 0-100km and 0-400m times they are very close. As for your magna auto beating an auto r33 gtst you are dreeming. I doubt you would even beat an auto GTS especialy if it had the rb25de. -
RB25 Engine Rebuild for 300-350kw - Help/Opinions
Munna replied to allblitz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I would go this option for sure I think the guy is making 270rwkw with this setup and still has a very resposive turbo and engine is stock apart froms cams (dont quote me on this). From what I understand for over 300rwkw reliably you would be better off with an rb26. Doing this with an rb25 would cost more. -
Thanks guys looks like a burnout and 25psi in the tyres will be the go.

Show me some examples of a decent r33 GTR for under 30 grand.
