  1. Z tune for me maybe not as good on the track as say the mines gtr but it has good the ride quality leather seats ect and all the luxury stuff as well.
  2. True that, Perhaps I should clarify that. He meant for the modifications done it usually requires more boost to acheive the figures I got
  3. VN commodore S V6 manual. Went hard had a few mods extractors twin cats exhaust gold98 chip and a pod. Dangerous car in the wet. I Loved it.
  4. My car was also tuned at Ice Performance very good service which is hard to find these days. Mods and power are in sig Nigel said the car is making very good power and usually it would take more boost than 10.5psi to make that power. Unfortunaty I lost the graph and im not sure whether it was done in shootout mode. i would highly recomend ICE performance to anyone.
  5. true that I have seen them on the steering colum just infront of the dash they look ok they but you would need to hide the wires somehow so it looks neet.
  6. What cubes said.
  7. I have mine setup in my glovebox with my boost gauge. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost...&cat=500&page=1
  8. Yeah if I start at around 16:59:47 on a Wednesday you might be right
  9. There is nothing wrong with the standard head gasket people often go to a thicker head gasket when running high boost to lower the compression of the engine. From what I have heard 250@wheels should be fine with standard gasket with supporting mods injectors, fuel pump, ecu, turbo ect. Run no more than 10psi with the standard turbo as rule of thumb as the ceramic wheels are week. As for how much boost can I run if you are using an after market turbo it depends on what turbo you are talking about what mods you have ect.
  10. I just replaced my clutch with a exeedy HD its great. Ive hear the PBR clutches are week.
  11. R34 turbos and r33 series 2 turbos have a ceramic turbine wheels and nylon compressor wheels they would be a good upgrade for a rb20 and would have less lag then the s1 r33 turbos which have ceramic turbine wheel and a steel compressor wheel. Ceramic wheel is the weekest part of these turbo's should be good for about 1 bar on your rb20.
  12. standard rb25 turbo will net you close to 200 highflow would give you more but I have heard that highflow can be a little laggy on a rb20. hks 2530 or 2535 would be the go.
  13. Makes sence Robo's I had just read differently in other threads.
  14. So a burnout before a run will be benificial with these tyres? I was under the impression that it would not make any difference as its a road tyre not a slick.
  15. Any idea on what tyre pressure I should try with the hankooks on 17" rims? I was thinking of starting at around 25psi.
  16. Interesting read
  17. Thanks Robo's low thirteens would be nice. Hopefully I can beet my mate in his stock VX R8 manual clubby.
  18. Id go the gcg highflow with a vg30 exhaust housing for sure. If I were going something from HKS a GTRS or a 2535
  19. Hi guys im going to hit the dragstrip soon for the first time just after a bet of advice and an estimate on what eta to expect. maunual r33 gts25t mods to engine are in sig. suspention setup is completely stock. I will be using hankook ventus k104 tyres 235's on 17" rims. What tyre pressure should I run with these tyres/rims? Does the drag strip have a lot more grip then the street? (eg good street road surface.) Can seems to launch well when you get it right to many revs wheel spin all the way though 1st to lower revs and it bogs down. does not diff hop on the street but will it on the drag strip with stock suspention? Probably hard to say but with a reasonable driver what 60 foot times should I expect with this setup and what ETA.
  20. If I was to lazy to drive a manual I would not have brought a sports car. Auto's in sports cars suck.
  21. very impressive results mate. What other mods do you have? are you using the stock cams?
  22. Depends on how far you want to go with mods my mate is a supra TT with similar mods to my gtst and I expected to get flogged but it was quiet the opisite. He has more RWKW than my but dont be fooled they are a lot heavier car. The line kills it but if you want to go all out the supra may go harder for less. Supra has a better engine and will handel more power in stock form but the Skyline is a lighter car and still has a great engine. Personally id go the skyline.
  23. Good, grips and thows you back in your seat. But it does depend on the surface of the road will spin all the way though first on the smooth looking road. A lot better than my old tires.
  24. Dont know about everyone else but I have found them to be loud
