Spotted a very clean looking black stagea (ICULKN) at prospect around 6pm, spent the next 5 mins listening to the girls try and work out what the plate meant.

Spotted a tuff looking black R34 GTR (REPRZENT plates i think) in Handhorf and flexing down the highway... pure sex... then to top it off a Black 35 GTR cruising down Portrush Rd minutes later.

Just spotted a nice black 33 with P plates cruising down magill rd (think i may have heard a rattle coming outta her though) Soon after... a tuff sounding silver 34 4door cruisin up magill rd and then a white 32 cruisin back down

Spotted a white 31 cruisin up payneham rd around 2pm, yep i did the late retard wave.. was in the white 34

On my travels today spotted.... Hot lookin silver 34 on NE road i think it was at a car tinting place (love the rims btw if its anyone on here) white 33 with nice body kit near angelakis seafood off gouger black 33 on the corner of ebenezer place and rundle st white 34 cruising down pultney st about midday black 4door 33 cruisin up magill road around the same time

Hi guys, just had a dvd player installed (Rick @ AutoPerfection did a great job), he moved my TT and Gizzmo electronic boost controller into a custom made pocket under the dvd player. When he moved the EBC he said that he had to disconnect the power and wire it back up. All the memories are still there (1. 13.8psi 2. 11.87psi 3. 7.9psi) but she wont boost up past 6psi. Is it something i can fix myself? or should i just take it in for another dyno tune?

Absolutely.. only problem is.. it may end up being cheaper just to get the Greddy kit, i think i saw the whole kit with piping on ebay for around $500. Or just take it to the istaller and let em put on whatever they suggest, i think the hybrid or Greddy from performance shops are around the $1000 mark plus around $300 for install

I just had a jap intercooler installed by Morpowa in Adelaide, trust me.. keep away from the cheap alternative. The cooler is cheap (around $350 for kit inc piping) and the quality seems to be very good, but the piping is completely wrong (sold as an R33 R34 kit). The installers swore black n blue that they would never fit one again. Pipes too short, silicon sleeves too small, had to change the wiper motor to a smaller one to fit, spacers from the block so piping could be secured.. all kinds of hassles. Just get the Greddy kit.. so much easier and no hassles!

Well that pipe that connects the head to the boost gauge was just hanging free, so there is definately a leak, but would it be the sole cause of the lack of horsepower? And there are no aftermarket ecu's or controllers installed. The fuel ratio was at 11 ish so the tuning seemed to be fine.

G'day guys.. quick question... I have a semi-auto r34GTT and have the following installed: HKS Air Filter Cat Back Exhaust Dump pipe On the dyno it made 162kw, since then i have installed: 3" Front Pipe High Flow Metal Cat Front Mount Intercooler Cold Air Induction After another power run it made only 164kw, the guy reckons that it may be due to the lack of boost (running standard 8psi) because of the extra amount of piping etc with the intercooler that there wasn't a significant increase in power. Has anyone heard of this before? I noticed that when u look at the engine from the front of the car, there is a small air intake pipe on the back left hand side that connects to the boost gauge (i think), this pipe was split and wasnt connected correctly. The 1st time the car was dyno'd he used this point for the reading (the boost gauge was working at this point), whereas the 2nd time he used a different point for the reading (the boost gauge wasnt working). Could the lack of power be caused from the split pipe? maybe a leak? Will be installing a boost controller next week and doing a tune to see the difference next week.
