  1. I just fitted a worked z32 ecu with nistune on my rb25 over here in the states and its pretty amazing how easy it works. Even with the Ford Lighting MAF running blow through. Im running the factory injectors but next year the fuel system will be getting a major upgrade to run e85 = )
  2. I just installed the rush racing anti lag and its pretty kool!! Im not sure about flat foot shifting but im sure it works as well. Using autometer shift light with tach adapter. I remember one dude on Nicoclub that installed one and he said it fryed his coil packs?? not really sure.

  4. But why?? That makes sense but what could cause the ecu to retard timing?? I did a diagnostic check the manual way and only got code 55. I have a nismo thermostat that opens at 150 degrees. would that cause any issues?
  5. contact cleaner, Anything that is designed to clean electrical components. Then lubricate all the contact points with a little di-electric grease. Good to go!
  6. I just shipped out my ecu to get nistune'd up...Cant wait to play with it. Ill be adding a few new goodies as well. Can you say biger turbo!!

  10. Has anyone tryed running blow through with the ford lightning maf meter?? And can nistune support injectors as big as 800cc's or so?
  11. I recently installed my z32 maf. I have a safc so I set it up to 2 in and 4 out. I drove it and it started to break up around 12+ psi on the factory turbo. I checked my timing and it showed negative timing. At the time my car was idling at 1000-1100 rpms. I reset the timing to 800-900 rpms and rechecked it. Its now reading 5 degrees(mark to the right of TDC mark) I have checked the mechanical timing and its good. I also checked to see if the key was still in the cas which it was... Does anyone have any input? Ill be ordering nistune in like 3 weeks but want my car to run good before hand.. thanks
  12. I fixed the coolant temp issue by replaced my old fan setup with the 210/220 fal fans... But im still having the ccw cas sensor issue. I recently installed a z32 maf and realized that the car was breaking up around 10-14psi. I put the timing gun on the crank to find that my timing was to the left of the TDC mark. I lowered the idle to 900 and checked timing and it was at the TDC mark but not 15 degrees?? -I checked to see if maybe I jumped a tooth on the belt. That checked out fine!! -checked to see if the key was broken off in the cas...good!! Now im stuck? With the cas ccw(15 degrees) on 14psi she pulls super hard!!! but if i place the cas in the center where it is suppose to be its breaks up due to the timing being retarded... please help!!

  15. so will the rb25 head macthed with a bigger turbo able to flow good enough to still make power around 7400-7900??? i have heard good things about the rb20 making its way up to 8 or so but the 25???

  17. This is what a freind told me when I asked why he swicthed from a gt30 to a big turbo like the T04Z...I was kinda shocked of his response..this is on a rb25. I think it may be built.. Hope this helps!! "Power wise there are a few t04z's in good combo's making 800+hp. I went from GT30 which was like a light switch into boost and not easy to drive to a GT35, i was diapointed by the GT35's added lag and lack of top end punch and thus went to T04z in full twin scroll, in 3rd, 4th or 5th i make 2bar boost by 4200rpm and I rev to 8500... this is a massive power band, even in 2nd im making enough boost ligth up the 285 RE55's by 5000rpm still leaving it with 3500rpm of power band. My main reason to go T04z was that i circuit race more than anything else and the progresive nature and smooth spool up of the T04z make it much easier to control than the "hair trigger" smaller turbos. Most of my video i have of the T04z is just mess around stuff, I have video of it on the hub dyno putting out close to 600kw/788hp at 2.25bar boost, that said most of my usage is at 1.2 1.3bar where the car is very easy to drive."

  19. it seems that everyone with a rb25 and wants to upgrade there injectors use these over here in the states. if your going to use something like a meth/alcohol shot then you may need the 850's
  20. nistune would be perfect if you could do away with the afm's and run a map sensor
  21. man i cant wait to put mine on. Had mine for over a year just waiting on money for the supporting mods...I would put money on it that the 20mm spacer,stock manifold, and turbo wont fit on my left hand drive 180sx cheers
  22. My freind told me about the redline product water wetter. He told me how he put it in his ride and temps decreased. Well I have been seeing my temps around 210 for about a month or 2 and kinda wanted to lower the temps. So I did a coolant flush and added the redline water wetter. I filled the rb with the front jacked up and let the car run until the thermostat opened. Cut the car off for about 3 minutes and crunk it back up. I repeated this about 3 times. Then I wanted to check my timing b/c the other day I messed with it and wanted to double check. When I checked it I noticed that the timing was reaing 0 degrees. So I adjusted it all the way ccw. Took it for a spin and it felt good but when I brought it back home to idle the temps reached 210 again. 2 weekends ago it climbed over 210 after a long drive and when it did the rpm went from like 1100 to 16-1700 rpms. im confused b/c i have never had a car act like this. It doesnt make sense.
  23. Ok I have a s1 rb25det in a 240sx. Ive been driving it with no problems for about a year now. Then All of a sudden my car start staying around 210 coolant temps in F. So I checked my timing and found that the only way I can set it at 15 btdc is with the cas all the way CCW?? What could cause this??

  25. Im using slim fans on my rb25 which is in a 240sx. I flushed the system and had the same situation. Tomm im going to bleed the system like I did about a year ago. Jack the front up, fill with the temp sensore removed. When the fluid come out then plug back up. That worked the 1st time I did my coolant flush. my autometer gauge reads 210 F at idle. When it goes above that like around 215 the idle jumps from 1000rpms to like 1600rpms??? whats up with that??
