i have an aa02 immobiliser alarm that i ripping out as it shorted and smells of burnt plastic, so i started on the new install and have got it to the point where i can start it, but i dont know which wires are for the blinkers and the standard central locking, and the other things it may be connected to?

I removed my rear hicas today and had a look at the ball joints and they were both flogged out but i had an idea. Getting straight into the idea, if you look below at the silvia forum post i like that idea of completely removing the ball joint in favour of a bush, but instead of making the bracket like they have to contain the bush i want to use the original one the way it was designed so it pulls against the ball joint and is held by a nut, but make up a 3-4mm thick washer on the lathe a to sit on the far side of where the ball joint was(first pic) and have that support and retain the bush (2nd pic) then run a high tensile bolt through the bush and the standard arm and put a nut on it. Insight and ideas welcome. You might not understand what i am trying to get across but if i can make it up it should mean being serviceable for the cost of the bushes, compared to $100 each from just jap if they had them in stock or maybe a supplier can get them if they order them in. modified series 1.5 stock front bar, has had the middle cut out more.

running a wasted spark set-up would be fine if you had a after market ecu to control the dwell time on the coils/ igniter. too much dwell and the igniter will get red hot and prematurely fail, too little dwell and the misfires and running like crap are your friend, a wise person once told me

hey i have a 400r front bar (because that's the way i bought the car) and i am not really that happy with the way it changes the front and sides of the car, has anyone seen this bar with the bottom lip section removed before and how did it look, my car is a standard gtst bodied r33 with this bar. Pics would be great other wise i am going to have to do it myself.

i looked at that car on carsales and to be honest, expect to pay 9k for a car that isnt going to cost more than first glance.

you should have a vac line running from the intercooler piping to the wastegate, it neeeds to be on that line.

do you pay more for the plates each year? what gauges are mounted on the b-pillar? did the ems plug in? does it need any type of engineer cert for anything / could you be defected for anything? bov?
