now.. knowing that getting an r32 NA top start with i'm going to have to upgrade a lot of the running gear and suspension to cope with the power.. but what kind of budget would i be looking at roughly - car, + labour?
haha yea i can just see myself lol'ing at the poor buggers with their totally stock cars.. i feel sorry for them tough.. hard to be an enthusiest (spelling) when you can't build.. unless they get projects!
Is the law that nothing above a 3.6L for P's in yet? That's gunna be a shit one for the holden and ford fans. they'll have to enjoy the crapness of the alloytec!!
haha yea it's like that ay.. i work 7 days a week atm and it's a struggle!
I've just been watching vids and there a bloke called mikespeed with a blown ls1 s13 and it's farking nuts!!! but then i'd also love to just build a really solid rb and that would be easier.. ahh i dno what to do yet.
Looking to build an r32 ls1 project and have been informed most shops wouldn't do such a conversion by a fellow SAU member.. so please list some that you think would do the job and do it well and i will give them a ring.. (or post info if owner)
Thanks in advance.. Ryan
yea i'm really wishing to.. but i have that sort of budget for the lot!
i'm still wondering how it would throw the balance off?? ls1 is lighter than an rb?
yea that's what i was thinking.. i know the ls1 has nice low down torque and would slide nice also but i'd love to go twin turbo ls1 but the kits are in excess of $10k... ill have all the time in the world as i'm losing my license for a while. what would be the approx cost of the ls1 build.. from an r32 NA auto + ls1 + 6spd + custom fabs for the mounts and such?
Looking for a new project car... can't decide whether to build an r33 rb25det monster or just drop in an ls1 into an r32.. hard choice and can't decide. just looking for opinions and pro's and cons of both.
thanks, Ryan.
your mate doesn't happen to have a polished high mount turbo manifold does he?? if so then he's just palmed you off the cheap ebay turbo that comes with it
